Upon detection of nonuse, recommendation display is made to ware 3D spectacles. During 2D commercial message, synchronizing signal is halted. AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) GAMING SYSTEM WITH SIGHT LINES TO OTHER PLAYERS
An augmented reality (AR) gaming system of the present description includes 3D eyewear for each player that allows the player wearing the 3D eyewear to view the surrounding physical space. The 3D eyewear in conjunction with operation of a 3D display assembly of the AR gaming system allows the player to see other players while they also perceive 3D augmentation content that is rendered based on that particular player's tracked location. For example, the 3D augmentation content may include a game object that moves about the virtual gaming environment/space during the game as two (or more) players play the game such as by interacting with the game object via movement of their hand(s) with the movement/location being tracked. The AR gaming system generates the 3D augmentation content to correctly represent the present location of the game object relative to their location and view point.

An infrared polarizing filter is attached to an infrared synchronization signal radiator of a stereoscopic image display device which alternately displays right and left images by time-division with polarized light in one direction to radiate the polarized-light infrared synchronization signal. The problem with the occurrence of crosstalk is solved. Stereoscopic image appreciation eyeglasses have polarizing plates, visual field opening/closing liquid crystal cells and tilt correcting liquid crystal cells. The synchronization signal is received by a receiver mounted on an eyeglass frame. The tilt correcting liquid crystal cells are adjusted based on the eyeglass frame tilt angle detected.

A head-mounted display includes a display device, a bonding structure connected to the display device, an adjusting mechanism connected to the bonding structure, and a rotation button connected to the adjusting mechanism. When the rotation button is rotated, the length of the bonding structure is changed by the adjusting mechanism.
Pi-cell polarization switch for a three dimensional display system
Techniques are disclosed relating to the transmission of data based on a polarization of a light signal. In some embodiments, data may include 3D video data for viewing by a user. Systems for transmitting data may include a display device and a device for switching the polarization of a video source. Systems for receiving data may include eyewear configured to present images with orthogonal polarization to each eye. In some embodiments, the rate of switching of the polarization switcher may introduce a distortion to the optical data. A Pi-cell device may be used in some embodiments to reduce distortion based on switching speed. In some embodiments, polarization switchers may introduce a distortion based on the frequency of transmitted light. In some embodiments, optical elements including in the transmitting or receiving devices may be configured to reduce distortions based on frequency.
MULTI-HUMAN TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH SINGLE KINECT FOR SUPPORTING MOBILE VIRTUAL REALITY APPLICATION
The invention discloses a multi-human tracking system and method with single Kinect for supporting mobile virtual reality applications. The system can complete the real-time tracking of users occluded in different degrees with a single Kinect capture device to ensure smooth and immersive experience of players. The method utilizes the principle that the user's shadow is not occluded when the user is occluded under certain lighting conditions, and converts the calculation of the motion of the occluded user into a problem of solving the movement of the user's shadow, and can accurately detect the position of each user, rather than just predicting the user's position, thereby actually realizing tracking.
Wearable glasses, control method thereof, and vehicle control system
Wearable glasses include a first capturer for photographing a front part, a second capturer for tracking a gaze direction of a user, and a controller for matching a target image captured by the first capturer with a three-dimensional (3D) interior map of a vehicle, corresponding to the target image, and determining a head direction of the user. The controller specifies an object corresponding to user gaze in the target image based on the determined head direction and the tracked gaze direction of the user. Accordingly, user convenience is enhanced.
