Method and apparatus for anticipating and planning communication-center resources based on evaluation of events waiting in a communication center master queue
A software application for recommending workforce resource allocation in a communication center based on requirements of events represented in a communication-center queue has a first interface for accessing information from the queue; a second interface for accessing information from a data source about workforce availability and state information; a processing component for processing queue information and workforce information; and a message generation and delivery component for generating a workforce allocation recommendation based on processing results and sending the recommendation to a target entity. In a preferred embodiment, the application periodically accesses the queue and the data source to obtain the most recent information for processing and generates periodic recommendations based on real-time requirements of events and availability states of resources, the recommendations sent ahead of time before the resources are required.
AUDIO CONTROL SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
Some embodiments of the invention are directed to an audio production system which is more portable, less expensive, faster to set up, and simpler and easier to use than conventional audio production tools. An audio production system implemented in accordance with some embodiments of the invention may therefore be more accessible to the typical user, and easier and more enjoyable to use, than conventional audio production tools.

SHORTEST PATH ROUTING IN SINGLE-CHANNEL NETWORKS WITH AGGREGATING AND NON-AGGREGATING NODES
Controllers in a software defined network and methods implemented such controllers include forming an auxiliary graph based on a network graph. The network graph includes aggregating and non-aggregating nodes and the auxiliary graph includes a number of non-aggregating nodes based on a number of incoming neighbors to non-aggregating nodes in the network graph. A best path from a source node to a destination node through the auxiliary graph is determined based on output links from non-aggregating nodes are occupied. The best path through the auxiliary graph is translated to a best path from the source node to the destination node through the network graph. Traffic is routed through the software-defined network based on the best path.
Dynamic flow and distribution optimization
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for monitoring group location. In some example embodiments, there is provided a method which includes receiving, at a controller, a location of a group of trackers; determining, by the controller, whether to optimize a schedule for the group of trackers as the group of trackers traverses a venue, wherein the determining is based on at least the received location; and sending, by the controller, a message to update the schedule, when the determining indicates the optimization should be performed. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Unified call routing in social hunt groups
Telephone call routing in a hunt group is based upon monitoring computer activities of the members (devices, people) of the hunt group. For example, a hunt group's member activity score may be based upon how many incoming hunt group calls that member handles. This high activity score is then used to control that member's place in the call routing order.
