METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ANNOUNCING CALLER INFORMATION OVER A TELEVISION LINK
A method, system and apparatus for announcing caller information to users over a television link. The method comprises receiving, via a portion of a data network adapted for handling Voice-over-IP (VoIP) calls, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signalling information associated with an incoming call destined for a destination party, the SIP signalling information comprising a portion conveying information regarding an origin of the incoming call and information regarding an identity of the destination party. The method further comprises attempting to establish a telephony link with a device associated with the destination party over a communication network in response to the receiving. The method further comprises releasing the portion of the SIP signalling information to a processing entity to cause delivery of an indication of the origin of the incoming call over a television link associated with the destination party, the indication based on the information regarding an origin of the incoming call.
Call transfer using session initiation protocol (SIP)
A system is provided for providing communication event routing and transfer capability in a multi-site communication-center environment. The system utilizes a presence protocol application and a routing application for determining availability of an agent or system and for setting up the transfer from a point of transfer on a network to a destination of transfer on the same or connected network. In a preferred use the presence protocol application is shared by communication-center sites cooperating in the transfer and routing of events and the presence protocol enables at least one event-handling process normally performed by the routing application.
CALL HANDLING BASED ON AUGMENTED CALLER INFORMATION
A device can receive a call from a calling party device to a called party device, and can determine caller information based on the call from the calling party device. The device can determine that the caller information satisfies a criterion, and can modify the caller information to create modified caller information, the caller information being modified based on the caller information satisfying the criterion. The device can compare the modified caller information to a data structure that includes information associated with multiple call handling decisions. The device can identify a call handling decision, of the multiple call handling decisions, based on comparing the modified caller information to the data structure that includes the plurality of call handling decisions, and can cause the call handling decision to be implemented.

Integrating SIP control messaging into existing communication center routing infrastructure
A software suite is disclosed for routing communication events over a data-packet-network using an IP session initiation and management protocol. The software suite comprises, a server application running on the network for computing and serving routing determinations per request, a session management application running on the network for initiating and managing routed and established session events, a parsing application running on the network for parsing request data received under session initiation protocol and a conversion application running on the network for converting data received under session initiation protocol into a routing request. All received communication requests for routing are in the form of the session initiation protocol wherein they are parsed and converted into routing requests processed by the server application and routed to determined destinations and wherein events are established as session events conducted under the session initiation and management protocol.
CALLING LINE/NAME IDENTIFICATION OF ENTERPRISE SUBSCRIBERS IN MOBILE CALLS
A system, server, and method of DTMF detection in a VoIP network.
CALLING LINE/NAME IDENTIFICATION OF ENTERPRISE SUBSCRIBERS IN MOBILE CALLS
A system, server, and method of DTMF detection in a VoIP network.
Call flow system and method for use in a legacy telecommunication system
A method of operating a network server, such as a mobile application gateway, connect devices on a cellular or carrier network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network, such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise.

Telephone number adjustment
A method to adjust a phone number is provided. The method may include receiving a first phone call at a telephonic device and obtaining a phone number from the first phone call. In some embodiments, the phone number may identify an origin of the first phone call. The method may further include prepending a digit to the phone number and storing the phone number with the prepended digit in a memory in the telephonic device. In some embodiments, the method may further include using the stored phone number to initiate automatic placement of the second phone call.
