FIBER OPTIC MODULE AND SYSTEM INCLUDING REAR CONNECTORS
A telecommunications assembly including a housing and a plurality of modules mounted within the housing. The modules includes a rear face in which is mounted at least one fiber optic connector. Within an interior of the housing are positioned at least one fiber optic adapters. Inserting the module through a front opening of the housing at a mounting location positions the connector of the module for insertion into and mating with the adapter of the housing. The adapters within the interior of the housing are mounted to a removable holder. A method of mounting a telecommunications module within a chassis.
Cable Junction Devices
A cable junction device including a housing having a bottom wall, a first forward-facing wall defining a first acute angle relative to the bottom wall, and a second forward-facing wall defining a second acute angle relative to the bottom wall. A single printed circuit board defines a third acute angle relative to the bottom wall. At least one first port extends from the first forward-facing wall toward an exterior of the housing. At least one second port extends from the second forward-facing wall toward the exterior of the housing. The at least one first port and the at least one second port each include a conductive pin configured to be directly electrically connected to the single printed circuit board.
High density panel with rotating tray
A telecommunications termination panel with a tray pivotably mounted within the front opening of a housing. The tray pivots about a hinge located adjacent one of the sides of the housing and includes a raised floor. The raised floor of the tray cooperates with the side adjacent the hinge and a bottom of the housing to define a cable path from a rear cable access port to an opening on the tray adjacent the hinge. The tray includes a plurality of connection locations and cable management structures to direct a telecommunications cable from the cable access port to a rear of the connection locations without violating bend radius rules. The tray may also include a temporary cable holder to assist in pulling cables through the rear opening into the housing. The present invention further relates to a telecommunications equipment rack with a termination panel with such a pivoting tray mounted to the rack.
Modular electronic apparatus for distribution of satellite signals
The application relates to modular electronic apparatus (1) for distribution of RF communication signals. The apparatus comprises a chassis (2) arranged to removably receive plural modules (3), at least some of which are arranged to receive and process RF communication signals. A communication path (17) is provided for modules to communicate with each other and/or with the chassis. Plural modules received in the chassis. When a module is received in the chassis, it is arranged to broadcast a message over the communication path indicating its presence in the chassis and its type. At least one other module is arranged to adapt its behaviour in response to the message.
Telecommunications patch panel with angled connector modules
A telecommunications patch panel is provided having a plurality of connector modules rotatably mounted to a frame member. Each connector module has a front face and an opposite facing rear face, and each front face includes a plurality of connector jacks. Each rear face includes a plurality of wire termination blocks. The wire termination blocks are electrically connected to the connector jacks. Each connector module is rotatable about a rotation axis relative to the frame member. A lock selectively locks each connector module to the frame member as desired. The connector jacks and the connector modules are arranged in linear arrays perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
Tracker tag with dual-purpose antenna components
Tracker tags, smart tags, locator tags, and the like are provided. A portable tracker device, according to one implementation, includes a housing having a front cover and a back cover. The portable tracker device also includes Radio Frequency (RF) circuitry configured to operate within at least one of a Bluetooth (BT) frequency range and an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) frequency range. Also, the portable tracker device includes a piezoelectric device having a first conductive plate and a second conductive plate. The RF circuitry utilizes at least one of the front cover, the back cover, the first conductive plate, and the second conductive plate as one or more antennas.
