METHOD FOR COLLECTING INFORMATION FROM A SET OF ELECTRICITY METERS
20220173767 · 2022-06-02 · ·

A data concentrator makes a collection from electricity meters in a powerline communication network. The electricity meters are distributed in a plurality of classes, and are ordered, in each class, according to an overall risk of collision incurred in the powerline communication network. When the data concentrator seeks to address another electricity meter to be addressed in parallel to an electricity meter currently being addressed, the data concentrator seeks to maximise the number of the electricity meters addressed in parallel, prioritising the electricity meters in a sequencing of the classes and a sequencing according to an overall risk of collision. This other electricity meter must present a risk of collision with each of the electricity meters currently being addressed below a predefined threshold.

RECOMMENDING WHETHER A SUBJECT MONITORING SYSTEM USES A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION MODE

A method and communications module for recommending in what manner or mode a sensor and communications module of a subject monitoring system should communicate. A determination is made as to whether or not more than a predetermined number of wireless channels have a noise level below a certain threshold. If a positive determination is made, a wireless communication mode is recommended. If a negative determination is made, a wireless communication mode is not recommended.

Mobile robot having insulated bag for food delivery

An insulated bag reduces heat exchange between temperature-sensitive items and ambient surroundings. The insulated bag has a bag body which can be covered by a bag lid. The bag lid is provided with a first portion of a securing element. The insulated bag is suitable for insertion into an item space of a mobile delivery robot. The mobile robot has a robot lid provided with a complementary second portion of the securing element. After the insulated bag is inserted into the item space, the two portions of the securing element are connected. Thereafter, when the robot lid is opened, the bag lid is also opened, permitting access to its contents.

EVALUATION AND VISUALIZATION OF WELL LOG DATA IN SELECTED THREE-DIMENSIONAL VOLUME

A method is provided for processing sensor data associated with a formation. The sensor data is obtained and divided into a plurality of voxels in a three-dimensional environment. Each voxel corresponds to a location in the formation surrounding a wellbore. A selection of a first point in the three-dimensional environment corresponding to a first position along the wellbore is received. A selection of a first two-dimensional shape intersecting the first point is received. A selection of a second point corresponding to a second position different from the first position along the wellbore is received. A three-dimensional volume containing a subset of the plurality of voxels of sensor data is generated. The three-dimensional volume is bound at least by the first point and the first two-dimensional shape at a first end and by the second point at a second end. The generated three-dimensional volume is rendered for output on a display.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UTILIZING ACOUSTIC SENSING TO MINIMIZE A POTENTIAL OF DAMAGE TO FIBER OPTIC CABLES

A device may receive sensing data that is produced by an environment associated with a fiber optic cable. Based on the sensing data, the device may determine a sensing profile, which indicates a measure of vibration as a function of distance along the fiber optic cable and as a function of time. The device may receive new sensing data produced by the environment. The device may determine that the new sensing data satisfies a vibration deviation criteria, relative to the sensing profile, for a duration threshold. By satisfying the vibration deviation criteria for the duration threshold, the new sensing data may indicate that the environment includes an activity associated with an increased likelihood of damage to the fiber optic cable relative to the sensing data. The device may perform one or more actions based on the new sensing data satisfying the vibration deviation criteria for the duration threshold.

Load center position-based addressing

Embodiments of the disclosure provide for a system and method for determining a circuit breaker position in a power distribution/load center. In one embodiment, the load center includes a plurality of circuit breakers. Each circuit breaker includes a base and a plurality of contact components coupled to the base. In that regard, an activation of a combination of the contact components indicates a position of the circuit breaker within the load center. The activation of the combination indicates that one or more of the contact components is in contact with one or more pegs coupled to the load center. When this occurs, a data transceiver coupled to each of the contact components transmits a data signal. The data signal includes a plurality of data bits, where each data bit indicates whether a corresponding contact component of the combination is activated or not activated.
