A system is for monitoring a power distribution network having mast constructions carrying at least one power line. The system has at least two smart modules, each being affixed to a respective mast construction and designed for wireless communication with each other for forming a main wireless communication network along the power line. The system has a sensor system affixed to a respective one of the mast constructions. The sensor system is designed for determining at least one quantity or event of the network and for communicating the quantity or event to a respective smart module, which are designed for communicating information associated with the quantity or event along the network, for being remotely monitored. The smart modules are placed outside the Live working and Vicinity zones in accordance with the EN50110-1 standard for power networks, and at least one sensor system is contained in each smart module itself.

ZONED ROOF MONITORING SYSTEM

A leak in the membrane of a generally horizontal roof support deck includes dividing the membrane into separate zones and locating a sensor to detect moisture underneath the membrane. A movable scanning device carried by a worker has a power supply antenna for supplying power by an electromagnetic wave to the sensor and the worker moves the scanning device to selected ones of the zones. At each selected zone the power supply antenna activates the sensor in the zone and the sensor to emits signals related to the moisture underneath the membrane as detected by the sensor device which are detected and recorded at the mobile scanning device.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BATTERY MANAGEMENT
20230069478 · 2023-03-02 ·

A battery management system includes more than three monitoring devices arranged inside a housing together with a battery. The monitoring devices monitor the battery and acquire battery monitoring information. The monitoring devices and a controller perform wireless communication via a communication path from the controller through each of the monitoring devices to the controller. The controller transmits a request signal to a receiving device that is one of the monitoring devices. The controller receives the battery monitoring information of all the monitoring devices from a transmitting device that is another of the monitoring devices. Another of the monitoring devices is a far device farther from the controller than the receiving device and the transmitting device are. The far device receives the request signal through the receiving device, and transmits the battery monitoring information to the controller through the transmitting device in response to the request signal.

The invention relates to a modular communication device having a master element with a control unit and bidirectional electrical control input-outputs, a series of modular elements having an upstream connection interface with a series of upstream input-output terminals disposed in locations forming a predetermined pattern, a downstream connection interface having a series of downstream input-output terminals disposed in locations forming the same predetermined pattern, a plurality of bidirectional electrical links connecting an upstream input-output terminal to a downstream input-output terminal in such a manner as to form a circular permutation between the ranks of the upstream and downstream input-output terminals electrically connected in pairs, and in which one of the electrical links is a local control link having an electronic communications module, the modular elements being connected to one another.

Thermal transmitting indicator

Described is a transformer end-of-life thermal transmitting indicator (thermal transmitting indicator) that is configured and well suited for monitoring the health of a transformer and communicating the health of the transformer to an end user by way of a cellular transceiver. The thermal transmitting indicator can be configured to alert nearby people of an impending transformer explosion if the transformer fails. The thermal transmitting indicator is also arranged to transmit any problems or impending danger from the transformer to the end user who can then respond by preemptively dealing with the failing transformer. The thermal transmitting indicator comprises liquid sensors spaced in its housing to sense if water or high humidity has infiltrated the housing.

Non-contact voltage measurement with adjustable size Rogowski coil

A sensor probe includes a body having first and second channels that are spaced apart and extend through the body approximately parallel to each other. A first end of a Rogowski coil is fixed within the first channel. The Rogowski coil passes through the second channel and loops back to the first channel where a second end of the Rogowski coil is selectively insertable into the first channel opposite the first end of the Rogowski coil. A non-contact sensor coupled to the body is positioned between the first and second channels to measure a parameter of an insulated conductor situated within the loop formed by the Rogowski coil. The size of an interior region within the loop is selectively adjustable by sliding movement of the Rogowski coil within the second channel.

Telemetry data correlation for device-level assurance in wireless networks

In one example embodiment, a server obtains a first indication of a first identifier associated with a user equipment in a wireless network, and first telemetry data associated with the first indication. The server obtains, from a network entity including a base station entity serving wireless communication in the wireless network, a second indication of the first identifier and second telemetry data associated with the second indication. The server determines that the first indication and the second indication match. In response to determining that the first indication and the second indication match, the server correlates the first telemetry data and the second telemetry data.
