A sensor management unit includes an obtaining unit that obtains sensing data from a sensing device to generate sensing data of a plurality of sensing items, a detection unit that detects an overloaded state of the sensing device, a retrieval unit that determines, based on a detection result obtained by the detection unit, at least one sensing item to be retrieved from of the plurality of sensing items and retrieves the determined sensing item, and an output unit that outputs the retrieved sensing item to an external device.
Remote monitoring of analyte measurements
Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for remote monitoring. In some example implementations, there is provided a method. The method may include receiving, at a remote monitor, a notification message representative of an event detected, by a server, from analyte sensor data obtained from a receiver monitoring an analyte state of a host; presenting, at the remote monitor, the notification message to activate the remote monitor, wherein the remote monitor is configured by the server to receive the notification message to augment the receiver monitoring of the analyte state of the host; accessing, by the remote monitor, the server, in response to the presenting of the notification message; and receiving, in response to the accessing, information including at least the analyte sensor data. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also disclosed.
EVENT LOGGING
Various embodiments of the present disclosure include a method for event logging. The method can include receiving a first sensor signal from a first sensor via a first sensor transmitter, wherein the sensor signal is associated with a flow of oil out of an oil storage tank. The method can include receiving a second sensor signal from a second sensor via a second sensor transmitter, wherein the second sensor signal is associated with an air pump that pumps air into the oil storage tank. The method can include determining whether a leak exists in the oil tank, based on a lag between a time when the second sensor senses operation of the air pump and a time when the flow meter detects a flow of oil out of the outlet pipe.
Data communication system, data communication apparatus, and sensor apparatus
A system is connected to a single-wire communication line to perform bidirectional communication between a master side and a slave side, and an input clock-side transistor connected between a GND level and the communication line performs switching according to an input clock. A first transistor is connected between a first potential and the communication line, a second transistor has one end connected to a second potential, and a master-side resistor is connected between the other end of the second transistor and the other end of a third transistor. A fourth transistor is connected between the communication line and a third potential equal to or higher than the first potential, and a slave-side resistor is connected between the communication line and the GND level.
BLACK BOX SYSTEM FOR LAND-BASED STRUCTURES AND PREMISES
A black box system for a land-based premises includes a black box device located in or near the premises. The black box device has a destruction resistant case or shell and operational components housed within the case or shell. The system has at least one remote component external to and in communication with the black box device and disposed at, on, or in the premises. The remote component is configured to collect information, signals, and/or data about premises conditions and to transmit the collected information, signals, and/or data to the black box device. The black box device receives the transmitted information, signals, and/or data from the remote component and stores same for a period of time before and/or during a triggering event. The stored transmitted information, signals, and/or data can be retrieved from the black box device after the triggering event.
Fine grained network management to edge device features
Network management systems and methods are provided. A system is provided that includes an event database that provides a mapping of multimodal sensor data to events of devices coupled to a network, such as operational or behavioral events. A network management engine obtains a set of multimodal sensor data relating to a device, which may include sensor measurement or output data relating to each of multiple device operation or behavior parameters. The engine determines, utilizing the mapping, a match of the set of multimodal sensor data to a specific event associated with the device. Based at least in part on the determined match, the engine causes generation or updating of event data associated with the specific event, the data being accessible by network management software of the network management system.
Apparatus and Methods for Remotely Monitoring Water Utilization
An apparatus and method for remotely monitoring water usage in real time utilizes a sensor attached to a water meter. The sensor monitors water flowing through the meter by analyzing the water meter's magnetic coupling and processes the data to correlate it to real time flow rates. Data is transmitted through a base unit to remote storage and consumers may access the data with application software installed on electronics such as smartphones and tablets. Four components are combined to allow the real time monitoring of water utilization.
MATCHING DEVICE, TERMINAL, SENSOR NETWORK SYSTEM, MATCHING METHOD, AND MATCHING PROGRAM
A provider-side metadata acquisition part acquires provider-side metadata regarding a sensing data providing terminal. The provider-side metadata includes a current position of the sensing data providing terminal. Also, the user-side metadata acquisition part acquires user-side metadata regarding sensing data using terminal. A matching part performs matching with the user-side metadata, using the current position of the sensing data providing terminal included in the provider-side metadata and the current time, and decides whether to request the sensing data providing terminal to provide the sensing data. A request part requires the sensing data providing terminal to provide the sensing data in accordance with the decision by the matching part.
