UTILITY COVER FOR USE WITH AUTOMATED METERING EQUIPMENT
Utility covers and utility cover assemblies for use with automated metering infrastructure equipment are provided. The utility cover includes a body having one or more windows that permit electromagnetic energy to pass through the body with limited or no attenuation. One or more plugs made of a material substantially transparent to electromagnetic energy seals the one or more windows to limit or prevent moisture to pass through the one or more windows.
Method for data communication with a domestic appliance by a mobile computer device, mobile computer device and domestic appliance
A method for data communication with a domestic appliance by a mobile computer device. The domestic appliance and the mobile computer device are interconnected or interconnectable via a wireless data connection. The wireless data connection is adapted for transferring signals between the domestic appliance and the mobile computer device. Further, the present invention relates to application software for the mobile computer device. Moreover, the present invention relates to a domestic appliance. Additionally, the present invention relates to a mobile computer device including a display or touch screen.
Electromagnetic device equipped with at least one wireless sensor
An electromagnetic device comprises an enclosure, at least one winding in the interior of the enclosure, at least one wireless sensor attached to the winding for sensing at least one property or deficiency of the electromagnetic device and at least one active communication unit comprising transceiving circuitry and at least one antenna, wherein the transceiving circuitry is placed on the exterior of the enclosure and the least one antenna is placed inside the enclosure for communication with the at least one sensor, wherein the at least one sensor comprises at least one sensor attached to the winding, and wherein the at least one sensor attached to the winding is a printed electronic sensor comprising electronics printed on an insulating substrate, where the substrate faces the at least one winding.
System, Method and Apparatus for Wireless Sensor Network Configuration
A remote user can specify data collection and processing characteristics of a wireless sensor network. In one example, a configuration station enables a user to activate/deactivate different sensor channels of data to support a delivery of data streams to customers. In another example, a configuration station enables a user to specify reporting intervals for different sensor channels of data. In yet another example, a configuration station enables a user to specify transformation functions for different sensor channels of data. The remote configuration process can be applied to every sensor in every sensor module unit attached to every wireless node at a monitored location.
Identifying and automating a device type using image data
Techniques for identifying a type of an electronic device using image data corresponding to the electronic device are provided. For example, a method may include receiving image data and textual data corresponding to an electronic device. The image data and textual data may be analyzed, and a type of the electronic device can be identified based on the analysis. Usage data associated with other electronic devices of the same type may be analyzed, and further processing may be performed based on the analysis of the usage data. In some embodiments, the further processing may include transmitting a message to a user device, the message including content related to usage of the electronic device.

Monitoring system for displaying raw and transformed sensor data in a user interface
The presentation of sensor network information can be provided to a user via a customized dashboard web interface. The dashboard web interface can be based on customized transformation and alert functions that can be applied to one or more sensor channels of data produced from sensors at a monitored location. The customized alerts can provide real-time monitoring of targeted conditions at the monitored location.
Connector for hydrodynamic applications equipped with at least one detection sensor
A hydraulic connector for hydraulic circuits includes a female coupling and a male coupling which are configured to directly couple with and decouple from each other. The female and male couplings do not include inner spaces to accommodate a first sensor. A mutual connection of the female and male couplings facilitates flow of a fluid between the female and male couplings. At least either the male or female coupling includes a first hollow element which is applied directly to an external surface of the male or female coupling to define an inner space. Either the male or female coupling includes the first sensor positioned in the inner space formed by the first hollow element. The first sensor is configured to detect and transmit electronic signals corresponding to working and/or operating parameters and/or values of the connector to a receiver.
Sensor Deployment Mechanism at a Monitored Location
A universal sensor interface enables selective coupling of one or more sensor module units to a wireless node. Each sensor module unit can contain a suite of sensors selected for a particular sensor application at a monitored location. Reconfiguration of the wireless sensor network can occur seamlessly through the plug-and-play connectivity between the sensor module units and the wireless node.
Modification of a Sensor Data Management System to Enable Sensors as a Service
A modification of a sensor data management system to enable discrete sensor applications. A sensor data control system enables discrete sensor applications to control the configuration, collection, processing, and distribution of sensor data produced by selected sensors at various monitored locations. The sensor service offered by the sensor data control system can be leveraged by any sensor application having an interest in any part of one or more monitored locations.
