FRAGRANCE DISPENSER
Fragrance dispensers with features that are capable of reducing wastage of fragrance, or of conserving fragrance, are disclosed. Such a fragrance dispenser may have a configuration that collects fragrance that is expelled from the fragrance dispenser, but has not vaporized or atomized sufficiently to dissipate into the environment, as well as fragrance that condenses immediately after it has been expelled from the fragrance dispenser. A spill-resistant bottle that may be used with a fragrance dispenser has a shape that orients an opening of the bottle in a somewhat upward orientation to prevent fragrance from spilling out when the bottle is tipped over. Fragrance dispensers with configurations that generate vortices to deliver fragrance into the surrounding environment are also disclosed.
Dispenser with an improved heater arrangement
A heater arrangement for a volatile material dispenser includes a cylinder defining an opening and a resistor embedded in the cylinder. The dispenser further includes a housing configured to receive a refill containing a volatile material and a wick. The housing includes a first cavity configured to support the heater arrangement. Further, the dispenser is configured such that, when the refill is received within the housing, the opening receives the wick therein so that a radial gap is formed between the heater arrangement and the wick.
Scent Diffusing System
Example techniques described herein involve a scent diffusing system. The system can include scent diffusing device(s), playback device(s), and controller device(s). The controller device may display on a graphical interface a representation of a first scent diffusing device and receive one or more inputs selecting the representation of the first scent diffusing device and a particular scent for the first scent diffusing device to release. At least one setting for the particular scent may be displayed which may include a scent release time. A selection of the at least one setting may be received, and the controller device may send a message to the first scent diffusing device including information indicating the scent to release and the selected at least one setting. The controller device can cause the first scent diffusing device to release the particular scent at the release time.
ODOR PRESENTATION MODULE, ODOR PRESENTATION DEVICE, ODOR PRESENTATION SYSTEM, AND ODOR PRESENTATION METHOD
An object of the present technology is to provide a technology that enables control of an odor. The present technology provides an odor presentation module including a first opening that first airflow containing an odor exits, and a second opening that second airflow exits, in which the first opening and the second opening are provided so that movement of the first airflow exiting the first opening is able to be controlled by the second airflow. The present technology also provides an odor presentation device and an odor presentation system including the odor presentation module. Further, the present technology provides an odor presentation method including a first airflow generation step of emitting first airflow containing an odor from a first opening, and a second airflow generation step of generating second airflow exiting a second opening or second airflow entering the second opening, in which movement of the first airflow exiting the first opening is controlled by the second airflow.
AROMA DIFFUSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AROMA DIFFUSING DEVICE
To provide an aroma diffusing device and a method of controlling an aroma diffusing device that can enable a plurality of functions to be achieved by operation inputs to one operation input part.
Provided is an aroma diffusing device including: a perfume holding part in which a perfume is held; an air blowing source configured to supply air to the perfume holding part; an aroma discharge part through which the air having passed through the perfume holding part is discharged; an operation input part on which an operation input for the air blowing source is performed by a user; and an air blowing source control part configured to control a supply state of the air on the basis of an operation input on the one operation input part.
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A cartridge for a vehicle interior component configured to dispense scent from scent media may comprise a body comprising an inlet port and an outlet port and a chamber to contain scent media; and a valve assembly comprising an inlet valve, an outlet valve and a valve mechanism. The valve assembly may facilitate air flow across scent media in the chamber and may provide a seal to obstruct air flow in the chamber. The valve mechanism may comprise an inlet spring to actuate the inlet valve and an outlet spring to actuate the outlet valve. The inlet spring and the outlet spring may be configured to be compressed in alignment with a connector to facilitate air flow. The component may comprise a console, overhead console, floor console, center console, etc.
Microfluidic delivery cartridge for use with a microfluidic delivery device
A cartridge that is releasably connectable with a housing of a microfluidic delivery device is provided. The cartridge has a reservoir for containing a fluid composition and a microfluidic die in fluid communication with the reservoir. The microfluidic die is configured to dispense substantially all of the fluid composition in a horizontal direction or downward direction relative to horizontal. The cartridge also includes an air flow channel disposed below the reservoir. The air flow channel extends from a fan to an air outlet. The air flow channel comprises a first region disposed adjacent to a fan, a second region disposed adjacent to the air outlet, and a third region joining the first and second regions. At least the second region is angled upward to the air outlet, relative to horizontal.
Pop-out diffuser and mobile-power-base apparatus and method
A compact diffuser integrates an atomizer and droplet separator into a surrounding sleeve, threadable to a bottle neck as an assembly. The assembly fits into a base, housing a motor and air pump, sealing the sleeve to a silo in the housing. Controls set time span of intermittent operation, intervening delay, and volumetric flow rate. The assembly pops into (and out of) the top end of a silo in the base, registering (aligning) circumferentially and axially to seal an air path from the pump to the atomizer. Access for applying force to the bottom of the assembly facilitates popping out the assembly when empty, or to simply change scent by changing out the assembly. Entire assemblies may be stored to simplify exchange and reduce chances for spills from reservoirs.
FLAMELESS LED CANDLE WITH FLICKERING EFFECT AND FAN-DRIVEN SCENT DIFFUSER
A flameless electric candle having a fan-driven scent diffuser. The candle includes a body portion having a translucent portion and a generally elongated cylindrical shape and housing therein a light emitting device configured to permit its emitted light to be partially visually discernible through the translucent portion. There is below the body portion, a base portion that includes a PCB, a switch, a light emitting device, a power source, a fan oriented to force air in a downwards direction away from the body portion, a pad configured to receive upon a surface thereof a fragrance or scent, openings in a wall of the base portion to allow the forced air scented by the fragrance to escape the base portion. The switch is selectable among a first mode in which the LED and fan are both on, an off mode both the LED and fan are off, and a second mode wherein only one of the LED or fan is on.
Wicking device for evaporating fragrance having a flow channel
A device has a container for a substance to be dispensed. A wick as a capillary element in contact with the substance in the container and forms part of the container. The wick has a wick-side substance dispensing area. A heating element produces a substance air flow, which is enriched with substance and flows away from the device, by heating the wick-side substance dispensing area and a substantially substance-free hot air flow that flows away from the device and is warmer than the substance air flow, by heating the air surrounding the heating element. A flow-guiding and/or deflecting apparatus guides and/or deflects at least one of the air flows, preferably the substance-free hot air flow, such that the air flows hit each other, preferably at a defined angle of incidence, and form a common substance-and-hot-air flow flowing away from the device.
