METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPUTING GLOBAL CONCURRENT OPTIMIZATION PATH, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and device for computing a global concurrent optimization path, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The method may include: computing, by a PCE, an actual path for each of at least one service sequentially based on a topology to serve as an actual best path; allocating, by the PCE, an actual spectrum resource sequentially for the actual path, to serve as an actual best spectrum resource; computing, by the PCE, an actual target value for all services in accordance with a target function, to serve as an actual best target value; and reordering a subset of services, recomputing an actual path for each of the subset of services and reallocating a spectrum resource, recomputing an actual target value for all services, updating the actual best target value, and updating the actual best path and the actual best spectrum resource, by the PCE.
Determining a Time to Permit a Communications Session to Be Conducted
A process and apparatus to facilitate communication between callers and callees in a system comprising a plurality of nodes with which callers and callees are associated is disclosed. In response to initiation of a call by a calling subscriber, a caller identifier and a callee identifier are received. Call classification criteria associated with the caller identifier are used to classify the call as a public network call or a private network call. A routing message identifying an address, on the private network, associated with the callee is produced when the call is classified as a private network call and a routing message identifying a gateway to the public network is produced when the call is classified as a public network call.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURING AND DYNAMICALLY APPLYING CALL ROUTE GROUPS
A system for selecting communication routes based on multiple criteria is disclosed. Disclosed in the present application are a number of systems and associated processes for allowing users to configure call routing systems to dynamically route calls by performing one or more of: ranking call destinations (e.g., vendors or trunk locations), adjusting or replacing route groups, queuing calls, activating interactive voice responses (IVRs), and re-purposing ports and trunks.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING CALL ORIGINATIONS USING SMS AND HOTLINE CAPABILITIES
A method for handling call originations is provided. The method includes sending origination information from a mobile device to an application server in an enterprise network using Short Message Service (SMS) and determining whether a hotline feature is present in a subscriber profile associated with the mobile device. Data is then routed from the mobile device to a predetermined destination based on the hotline feature.
Automatic termination path configuration
There is provided herein a system and method for automatic configuration of data routings for use with electronic data such as phone calls, faxes, etc. In the preferred embodiment, when more than one carrier might potentially terminate the transmission, the carriers are ordered based on some screening criterion (e.g., transmission price). Data transmissions are then assigned to the carriers based on the sorting order, with the second place and lower carriers (e.g., the higher priced carriers) not being selected unless the first carrier cannot complete the transaction. The switch instructions necessary to implement this scheme are generated automatically.
MOBILE APPLICATION GATEWAY FOR CONNECTING DEVICES ON A CELLULAR NETWORK WITH INDIVIDUAL ENTERPRISE AND DATA NETWORKS
A mobile application gateway for connecting devices on a cellular network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks and/or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise. The invention may consist of a primarily of core network and services components based on the IMS network architecture, and is backward compatible to support legacy systems in place in current telecom and data networks.
Service Protection Method and Network Node
A service protection method includes a first node that determines that a fault has occurred on a first working path, and generates a service switching message based on the fault on the first working path. The first node sends the service switching message on a first protection path, where the service switching message indicates to adjust a bandwidth of a service from a guard bandwidth to a target bandwidth, where the guard bandwidth represents a pre-occupied bandwidth of the first protection path before the service is transmitted, where the target bandwidth represents an occupied bandwidth for transmitting the service on the first protection path, and where the guard bandwidth is less than the target bandwidth.

The method includes sending origination information from a mobile device to an application server in an enterprise network using Short Message Service (SMS) and determining whether a hotline feature is present in a subscriber profile associated with the mobile device. Producing Routing Messages for Voice Over IP Communications
