A breast milk collection and storage system and methods of use is described. The breast milk collection and storage system may include a milk container operable to hold and store breast milk for an extended period of time. The milk container may include a container wall with an oxygen blocking layer, a light blocking layer, and an inner surface that is non-adherent for lipids and proteins, a container opening surrounded by the container wall, and a foil seal operable to seal the container opening. The milk container may have low oxygen head space and a storage system to enable the rapid cooling of the breast milk.
Breast Milk Collection and Storage System and Method of Use
A breast milk collection and storage system is disclosed that comprises a manual breast pump. The manual breast pump comprises a breast cup configured to engage with a mother's breast. The breast cup comprises an opening. The manual breast pump also comprises a reservoir at a base of the breast cup configured to receive breast milk through the opening and collect breast milk extracted from the mother's breast. The breast milk collection and storage system also comprises a stopper configured to seal the opening to prevent leakage of breast milk from the reservoir. The breast milk collection and storage system further comprises a capsule configured to enclose the manual breast pump with the stopper and apply a compression force to the stopper to maintain the seal of the opening when the capsule is closed.

An expression kit (2) for use in a breast pump device (1) for extracting breast milk from a human breast comprises a breast pump body (20) having a first pressure chamber (21), a second pressure chamber (22), and a membrane portion (5) separating the first and the second pressure chamber (21, 22) from each other. The membrane portion (5) is configured to form a barrier between the first and the second pressure chamber (21, 22) for preventing leakage of human breast milk from the second pressure chamber (22) to the first pressure chamber (21), yet to allow for air exchange between the first and the second pressure chamber (21, 22), wherein the membrane portion (5) is hydrophobic and has the shape of a solid sheet being provided with holes (50) which are configured for rendering the sheet permeable to air and impermeable to liquid.
BREAST PUMP
A breast pump is provided, including a milk bowl, and a breast shield detachably connected to the milk bowl, and a main body detachably connected to the milk bowl. A milk storage cavity for storing milk is defined by the milk bowl and the breast shield. The main body includes a housing detachably connected to the milk bowl, and an air pump disposed in the housing and used for generating negative pressure. The milk bowl is provided with a milk outlet spatially communicating with the milk storage cavity, and the housing is provided with a hole plug engaged to the milk outlet and used for partially sealing or completely sealing the milk outlet when the housing is assembled with the milk bowl.

A breast shield arrangement (300) for a breast pump comprises a first sealing portion (310), a port (320) and an intermediate portion (330) coupled between the first sealing portion (310) and the port (320). The intermediate portion (330) comprises a circumferentially extending wall defining a first volume (V1) which is adapted to receive a part of a breast, a first end (331), a curved portion (332) and a second end (333). The curved portion (332) comprises a second sealing portion (332c) which is adapted to at least partially seal the curved portion (332) against the nipple (310), the areola (320) or the breast (200) when a vacuum is applied at the port (320) creating a second volume (V2) between the first sealing portion (310, 332c) of the breast (200). The curved portion (332) at the second volume is curved outwardly as seen from the first sealing portion (310).

The systems, methods, and devices can efficiently express breast milk while being visually and audibly discreet, and portable. The breastmilk expression system for extracting milk from a breast of a female may include an interface configured to deliver suction to a nipple of the breast. The system may include a breastmilk storage container configured to store breastmilk The system may include a control device operatively coupled to the breastmilk storage container and the interface. The control device may include one or more pressure reservoirs configured to store negative pressure. The control device may be configured to cause passive suction at the interface to cause extraction of the breast milk by controlling delivery of the negative pressure stored in the one or more pressure reservoirs to the interface.

BABY MOUTH SIMULATOR
The invention relates to a baby mouth simulator for the female breast, comprising a receiving space for the lactated milk. The baby mouth simulator further comprises a milking sleeve, by means of which a manual milking pressure causing a lactation can be carried out to the nipple and the adjoining regions. The aim of the baby mouth simulator is to improve the effectivity of the method of a manual generation of a lactation of the female breast. This aim is achieved in that the milking sleeve is designed as a dual sleeve, wherein an inner sealing sleeve, which seals the receiving space with respect to the areola when used as intended, and a fixing sleeve, which mechanically fixes the baby mouth simulator on the breast when used as intended, is provided, and the receiving space is designed as a vacuum space.
