Breast shield
The breast shield is an apparatus for a resting position use by a nursing woman to capture expressed milk while using a breast pump comprising a breast receiving cone with a plurality of holes and a hole plug on the side of said cone for draining expressed milk away from the breast and into an attached tube for collection in a container. The apparatus is optionally configured with a one-way flow valve positioned in the cone above the nipple and below the holes to enable back-flow prevention of expressed milk. The apparatus is optionally configured with a one-way flow valve connected to any of the holes on the side to enable back-flow prevention of expressed milk.
Breast shield with suckling motion one-way valve
The breast shield with suckling motion one-way valve of the present invention is a breast shield for use with a breast pump wherein the breast shield has a one-way valve configured to mimic the suckling action/motion of a nursing infant which can optionally be located beneath many holes to drain expressed milk. The breast shield of the present invention is used to improve the breast pumping experience, it can be used from any body position from sitting upright to laying fully recumbent, and it reduces or eliminates back flow of expressed milk.
A BREAST MILK EXTRACTION KIT COMPRISING A BREAST MILK PUMP AND A PUMPING DEVICE
A breast milk pump comprising: a milk extraction assembly comprising a funnel configured to engage a breast of a user, said funnel comprising a flexible portion having a flexible portion inner surface for facing the breast and an opposite flexible portion outer surface; a stimulating mechanism facing the flexible portion outer surface and configured to manipulate the flexible portion; and a position adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a position of the stimulating mechanism with respect to the funnel, said position adjustment mechanism comprising at least one lever member articulated to the stimulating mechanism, the lever member being pivotable about a lever pivot axis, to move the stimulating mechanism.

Breast pumping system
A breast pumping assembly for a forward-leaning chair is provided. The assembly allows for a breast pumping mother to be optimally positioned and comfortable while pumping breast milk, leading to quicker and more effective pumping. The breast pumping assembly and the chair are adjustable to adapt for different sized mothers and changing body size and shape as pumping progresses.
Apparatus and methods to create posterior compression at the breast during expression of breast milk
Improved devices and methods for the expression of milk from a breast are disclosed herein. A device for expressing breast milk may comprise a breast interface including a flange configured to engage a breast and fluidly seal thereagainst, and an actuatable assembly operably coupled to the breast interface and configured to apply vacuum pressure at the breast interface. The breast interface may be configured to apply anterior compression to an anterior portion of the breast when the actuatable assembly is actuated. The flange may be configured to apply posterior compression to a posterior portion of the breast when the actuatable assembly is actuated. The posterior compression can help improve the efficiency of milk expression by reducing the retrograde flow of milk.
Pressure based volume sensor for liquid receptacle
Disclosed herein are various techniques and devices for detecting a level of fluid within a fluid collection receptacle. These techniques and devices may further determine a flow rate of fluid entering the fluid collection receptacle or a volume of fluid collected within the fluid collection receptacle. Sensors, including pressure sensors, may be installed in, on, or within the fluid collection receptacle to detect information about the liquid within the receptacle including fluid level, flow rate, and volume.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR ASSISTING BREASTFEEDING
Apparatus and methods for assisting breastfeeding are disclosed where the device is a feeding aid which attaches to an individual in a hands-free manner so that an infant can latch on and suck either expressed breastmilk or formula. The device provides a raised surface that allows the baby to latch and which contains openings which are connected to a tube that originates at a reservoir that holds the desired liquid such as expressed breastmilk or formula for the nourishment of the baby. Several openings can serve as a conduit for the suction to allow for the sensation of breastfeeding and stimulation of the mother's nipple and areola to promote breast milk production. A flow regulator may adjust the flow of the liquid coming to the baby at each feeding.
Hands-free wearable breast pump
The present invention discloses a hands-free wearable breast pump which includes: a main pump body, a milk reservoir, a tee piece, an airbag and a duckbill valve. The main pump body is provided with a mounting cavity having an opening in a front end surface of the main pump body; the tee piece includes a first port, a second port for mounting the airbag and a third port for mounting the duckbill valve; the airbag is mounted to the second port; the duckbill valve is mounted to the third port; the milk reservoir is mounted to the tee piece or the main pump body; the duckbill valve is in fluid communication with the milk reservoir; the main pump body has at least one pushing and positioning structure formed in the mounting cavity; the tee piece is detachably mounted in the mounting cavity and abuts against the at least one pushing and positioning structure; and the tee piece is pushed upward by the at least one pushing and positioning structure to press an open end of the airbag tightly against a side wall of the mounting cavity. The hands-free wearable breast pump has the advantages of excellent sealing performance and convenient disassembly and assembly.
Breast pump assembly
A breast pump assembly is disclosed. The breast pump assembly according to an aspect of the present disclosure may include: a breast pump including a contact housing with a backside recessed to wrap a breast and a storage housing coupled to the contact housing to define a breast milk storage space on a frontside of the contact housing, the breast pump being provided with a coupling cavity penetrating an upper portion of the storage housing; a stopper detachably coupled to the coupling cavity and provided with a first air pipe connector; an air pipe coupled to the first air pipe connector; and a pump cradle provided with a second air pipe connector to which the air pipe is coupled, wherein the pump cradle includes: a first case provided with the second air pipe connector, an insertion hole and an air passage connector; a first milking pump installed in the first case; a duct connecting the first milking pump and the air passage connector to the second air pipe connector; and a pump module including a second case detachably coupled to the insertion hole and a second milking pump installed in the second case, wherein the second case is provided with an air passage connecting the air passage connector with the second milking pump, and wherein the pump module is separated from the insertion hole and detachably coupled to the coupling cavity from which the stopper is separated.
