LIGHT ACCESSORY DEVICE FOR A BREAST PUMP OR THE LIKE
A light accessory device couplable to a neck of a breast shield assembly for a breast pump, the light accessory device including: a housing; a clip structure coupled to and extensible from the housing and adapted to selectively couple the housing to the neck of the breast shield assembly; and a light source disposed within the housing and positionable adjacent to the neck of the breast shield assembly such that the light source selectively directs light towards and into the neck of the breast shield assembly or towards a breast shield of the breast shield assembly or another component of the breast pump. In addition or alternatively, the clip structure is pivotably coupled to the housing.
SYSTEM FOR SYNCHRONIZING BREAST PUMPING WITH INFANT FEEDING
A system embodied in an article of clothing for synchronizing one or more breast-pumping sessions of an individual (such as a mother) and milk consumption by a second individual (such as a baby or infant) is described. In particular, based on measurements of a volume of the collected milk as a function of time and received information specifying milk consumption by the second individual as a function of time, a control circuit may determine a need for milk. Then, the control circuit may provide feedback based on the determined need for milk that synchronizes the one or more breast-pumping sessions and the milk consumption. For example, the feedback may alert the individual to initiate a breast-pumping session and/or may provide a signal to a breast pump that initiates a breast-pumping session.
PUMPING/NURSING BRA
An apparatus allowing a woman to pump milk from her breasts without the necessity of the woman's hands holding the breast pumps utilizes at least one band of material encircling the woman's chest, the band of material provided with two openings corresponding to the woman's breasts. A center panel would be provided to adjust the fit of the band. Additionally, in another embodiment, a back panel would be used in conjunction with the center panel to connect left and right panels together, the left and right panels including openings for a woman's breast. In all of the embodiments, semicircular pieces would cover each of the openings. In yet another embodiment, a removable piece is attached to the front of the apparatus, allowing the woman to wear the apparatus all day, even in public.
FUNNEL SUPPORT ACCESSORY FOR A BREAST PUMPING SYSTEM
A funnel support accessory attaches to a breastfeeding garment, such as a nursing bra, to support a funnel of a breast pumping system at a nipple area of the wearer's breast, so as to generally conceal the wearer's breasts and allow the wearer to perform other tasks while pumping in a hands-free manner. The funnel support accessory includes a fabric panel having at least one central opening configured to engage the funnel of the breast pumping system. The funnel support accessory also includes an engagement element disposed at an upper portion of the fabric panel to attach to an attachment feature of a breastfeeding garment. The fabric panel supports the engaged funnel of the breast pumping system generally over an exposed nipple area, such that the funnel seals against the nipple area without using a hand to support the funnel.
Hands Free Pumping Garment
A nursing garment system to facilitate selective nursing and hands-free breastpumping having at least one connector configured to selectively connect a nursing bra to at least one of a hands-free breastpumping device, a nursing cover, and a breast cup of the system is disclosed. The at least one connector may include a closing device partially attached to each of the at least one of the hands-free breastpumping device, the nursing cover, and the breast cup of the system, the closing device configured to connect to a nursing bra closing device. The system may include a pumping garment having a partial
Support Apparatus For Breast Pump
A support apparatus, which is fastened to the center and to the left and right straps of an article of clothing suitable for nursing (e.g. a nursing bra), and can be worn for extended periods of time (e.g. a full work day). The support apparatus is operable in an open and closed position. In its open position, it securely holds a breast pump's shield on a breast, enabling a woman to pump breast milk in a “hands-free” manner, while also allowing for translational motion of the breast shield. In its closed position, it lays flat against a woman's chest without obstructing access to her breasts, enabling the woman to breastfeed an infant while wearing it. By operating the two positions of the support apparatus, a woman has the option of pumping milk in a “hands-free” manner with one breast, and simultaneously breastfeeding an infant with the other breast.
Breast pumps
An example breast pump system can include: a control unit including a processor and memory, the control unit including an interface to control the breast pump system; a vacuum unit controlled by the control unit, the vacuum unit including pump motors to create suction for pumping milk; a support mechanism located remotely from the control unit; and a member extending between the control unit and the support mechanism, the member being movable to allow the control unit to be repositioned relative to the support mechanism. The memory encodes instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the breast pump system to: select at least a first pump motor from the plurality of pump motors for a first pumping timeframe; and select at least a second pump motor from the plurality of pump motors for a second pumping timeframe.
HANDS-FREE BREAST PUMP
A hands-free breast pump comprises a funnel-shaped adsorption unit having an adsorption surface and a suction tank; a suction chamber having an extension part, the extension part having a connection pipe and a second suction hole formed on the lower portion of the inner peripheral surface, and a first coupling part extended downwardly from the extension part and having a third suction hole formed on the lower portion of the inner peripheral surface thereof; and a storage vessel coupled to the first coupling part in the horizontal direction with the adsorption surface to store the breast milk discharged from the backflow prevention unit therein.
SENSOR NETWORK FOR BREAST PUMPING MOTHERS
Disclosed herein is a breast pump sensor network. The breast pump sensor network includes an emitter disposed within a bodily fluid capture system and a detector disposed within the bodily fluid capture system. Further disclosed is a method for controlling the breast pump sensor network which includes emitting a beam of electromagnetic radiation within a bodily fluid capture system, detecting one or more drops of body fluid within the bodily fluid capture system, determining a bodily fluid flow rate based at least on the detected one or more drops of bodily fluid, and providing the determined bodily fluid flow rate to at least one user.
BREAST PUMP ASSEMBLY
A breast pump assembly is disclosed. The breast pump assembly according to an aspect of the present disclosure may include: a breast pump including a contact housing with a backside recessed to wrap a breast and a storage housing coupled to the contact housing to define a breast milk storage space on a frontside of the contact housing, the breast pump being provided with a coupling cavity penetrating an upper portion of the storage housing; a stopper detachably coupled to the coupling cavity and provided with a first air pipe connector; an air pipe coupled to the first air pipe connector; and a pump cradle provided with a second air pipe connector to which the air pipe is coupled, wherein the pump cradle includes: a first case provided with the second air pipe connector, an insertion hole and an air passage connector; a first milking pump installed in the first case; a duct connecting the first milking pump and the air passage connector to the second air pipe connector; and a pump module including a second case detachably coupled to the insertion hole and a second milking pump installed in the second case, wherein the second case is provided with an air passage connecting the air passage connector with the second milking pump, and wherein the pump module is separated from the insertion hole and detachably coupled to the coupling cavity from which the stopper is separated.
