DETACHABLE MIXED-SOURCE PORTABLE SPEAKERS
Methods and systems are provided for use of a portable speaker system both as part of a vehicular audio system and as a stand-alone audio system. A speaker may be attached to an internal speaker receptacle of a vehicle and coupling to an audio amplifier of the vehicle. Audio performances received by the speaker from the audio amplifier may then be played by the speaker. The speaker may also be decoupling from the audio amplifier of the vehicle and detached from the internal speaker receptacle of the vehicle. Audio performances received by the speaker from a wireless interface coupled to the speaker may then be played by the speaker.

MOTORCYCLE SADDLEBAG SUBWOOFER
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a subwoofer housing that may be installed within a motorcycle storage container (also known as a saddlebag). The subwoofer housing may include a subwoofer transducer which when used in conjunction with full range audio transducers within the motorcycle audio system introduces dynamic low frequency harmonics into the overall frequency response. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the subwoofer housing may include an active subwoofer transducer, and a passive radiator transducer, both with downward orientations. The saddlebag including a floor, and one or more air vents in the floor. Sound waves emitted from the active subwoofer transducer and the passive radiator transducer travel through the one or more air vents and reflect in an omni-directional pattern from a road surface to generate greater audible levels of the low frequency sound waves.
AUDIO APPARATUS
An audio apparatus has a housing, speakers, a subwoofer, and an amplifier. The housing has an upper surface, a lower surface, a lateral surface, and connectors. The upper surface has an upper edge, with the upper surface having first and second upper surfaces. The lower surface has a lower edge, with the lower surface having first and second lower surfaces. The lateral surface extends from the upper edge to the lower edge, with the lateral surface having first and second lateral surfaces and speaker openings. The first upper surface, the first lower surface, and the first lateral surface define a first portion of the housing. The second upper surface, the second lower surface, and the second lateral surface define a second portion of the housing. The first portion is connected to the second portion by the connectors. Each of the speakers is mounted over one of the speaker openings. The subwoofer is mounted to the lower surface. The amplifier is mounted to the housing, with the amplifier in communication with the one or more speakers and with the subwoofer to generate sound from the one or more speakers and the subwoofer.

Loudspeaker array cabinet
A substantially full-range loudspeaker system for acoustic sound reinforcement can include a woofer section with a first loudspeaker driver configured to reproduce audio signals in a first frequency range and a controlled-directivity horn section configured to reproduce other audio signals in a different second frequency range. In an example, the horn section includes a second loudspeaker driver comprising a cone-diaphragm transducer and a dust dome, an acoustic lens having a first side and an opposite second side, wherein the first side of the lens is coupled to a sound-projecting face of the second loudspeaker driver, and a waveguide coupled to the second side of the lens, wherein the waveguide comprises walls that follow arcuate paths in horizontal and vertical planes.
Wireless Speaker And Camera Assembly
A wireless speaker and camera assembly includes a remote control for storing data comprising a remote control program. A housing is included and a speaker is integrated into the housing to emit audible sound outwardly therefrom. A camera is integrated into the housing to capture images of the environment in which the housing is positioned. A transceiver is integrated into the housing and the transceiver is in communication with the speaker and the camera. Additionally, the transceiver is in remote communication with the remote control to send and receive audio data and image data with respect to the remote control thereby facilitating the speaker to stream audio received from the remote control.
SMART MICROPHONE-SPEAKER DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A microphone-speaker device includes a speaker, a microphone configured to capture sound and output an audio data signal and a housing configured to contain the microphone and the speaker. The device also includes an electronic circuit having audio electronics coupled to the speaker, an Ethernet interface configured to connect the electronic circuit for communication with a security system through an Ethernet connection, a power extractor for extracting power from the Ethernet connection for powering the electronic circuit and the microphone, and processing electronics configured to process the audio data signal from the microphone.
