Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes: a display panel configured to display an image, at least one supporting member on a rear surface of the display panel, the at least one supporting member defining a groove, at least one sound generation device adjacent to the display panel, and a wiring, accommodated into the groove, configured to transfer a signal to the at least one sound generation device.
Multi-range speaker containing multiple diaphragms
Embodiments are disclosed of a speaker capable of producing multi-frequency-range sound using bar magnets, multiple diaphragms, and a shared planar voice coil. The planar voice coil is located between the bar magnets and translates a received electric signal into the kinetic energy that vibrates the diaphragms, thus reproducing multi-frequency range sound. In some embodiments, the speaker generates bi-directional sound.

Systems and methods for dynamic noise reduction
Aspects relate to systems and methods for dynamic active noise reduction including at least a sensor configured to sense a physiological characteristic of a user and transmit a physiological signal correlated to the sensed physiological characteristic, at least an environmental microphone configured to transduce an environmental noise to an environmental noise signal, a processor configured to receive the environmental noise signal, generate a noise-reducing sound signal as a function of the environmental noise signal, and, modify the noise-reducing sound signal as a function of the physiological signal, and a speaker configured to transduce a noise-reducing sound from the modified noise-reducing sound signal.
Electronic device architecture and components
An electronic device can include a housing at least partially defining an internal volume and an exterior surface of the electronic device. The electronic device can also include a display assembly including a display layer, a substrate disposed below the display layer, and a substantially continuous sheet of conductive material disposed on the substrate, the sheet of conductive material covering substantially an entire surface of the substrate. A transparent cover can overlie the display assembly and can be affixed to the housing.
Functional, Socially-Enabled Jewelry and Systems for Multi-Device Interaction
Functional jewelry is disclosed. A bracelet includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), a main control unit, and positional and situational sensors, typically including an accelerometer, as well as a decorative, interchangeable fascial layer. The bracelet may also include sensors such as capacitive touch sensors, a microphone, and a color sensor. A radio transceiver within the bracelet is adapted to implement a protocol such as BLUETOOTH® 4.0, and is adapted to allow the bracelet to communicate in peer-to-peer or master-slave mode. Two users can pair their bracelets in person, usually with a gestural trigger, for shared light displays, multi-player games, and other types of interactions. Larger groups can pair temporarily and contextually for multi-user displays and interactions, in an ad hoc network with distributed functions. Real-world interactions are communicated to a social network with profiles linked to the individual bracelets.
Speaker Module And Electronic Device Using The Same
A speaker module is provided. The speaker module includes a housing, a speaker unit, and a modulating unit. The housing has a main segment and an extension segment connecting to the main segment and extending away from the main segment, the main segment and the extension segment communicate with each other and form a chamber. The speaker unit is disposed in the housing in a position that is relative to the main segment. The modulating unit is arranged to correspond to the extension segment and is positioned in the housing. The shape of a cross section of the modulating unit is compatible with the shape of a cross section of the extension segment, and a length between the speaker unit and the modulating unit along the chamber is greater than 0.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM MECHANISM
A suspension system is provided with a frame to mount to a side surface of a speaker cabinet with a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The suspension system is also provided with a lever arm with a proximal end and a distal end that are both adapted to connect to an upper support. The lever arm also has an intermediate portion that is pivotally connected to the frame about a pivot axis with a plurality of arcuate slots formed through. Each arcuate slot is formed with an end stop that corresponds to a splay angle of the speaker cabinet relative to the upper support, and each slot aligns with one of the apertures to receive a pin. Whereby suspending the speaker cabinet from the upper support pivots the lever arm in a first direction until the pin engages the end stop.
