There is provided a head wearable air purifier comprising a first speaker assembly and a second speaker assembly, wherein the first speaker assembly comprises a filter assembly, an impeller for creating an airflow through the filter assembly, a motor arranged to drive the impeller, and an air outlet downstream from the filter assembly for emitting the filtered airflow from the speaker assembly. The head wearable air purifier further comprise a nozzle arranged to receive the filtered airflow from the first speaker assembly, the nozzle comprising an air outlet arranged to emit the received filtered airflow from the head wearable air purifier. The filter assembly is provided upstream of the impeller and comprises one or more generally frusto-conical filter elements.

A sanitizing apparatus sanitizes headsets or eyeglasses between uses by patients. The apparatus includes a UV-C lamp that generates UV-C light at a proper frequency and intensity during a time period of sufficient duration to kill bacterial and viral infectants on surfaces of the headsets or eyeglass frames that may come in contact with a patient's skin. The apparatus may also be used for sanitizing bone vibrators, otoacoustic emissions testing equipment, headsets used in impedance testing, insert earphones, and response buttons that are commonly used in audiometric testing. The apparatus can also be used in communication situations in which headsets are utilized with microphones, such as in call centers.

Provided is a headphone cover configured such that an ear pad is covered with a fabric from the outer peripheral surface to the inner peripheral surface thereof, and a part of the fabric is fixed to the inner peripheral surface or the like of the ear pad using a fixing member 20 such that the recessed space formed in the middle portion of the ear pad is not closed. The fixing member 20 is formed of a belt-like member 21 having flexibility, a plurality of first locking portions 22 is formed on the upper surface of the belt-like member 21 while a second locking portion 23 is formed on the lower surface of the belt-like member. Then, the first locking portion 22 and the second locking portion 23 are formed in a shape in which the belt-like member 21 is slidable only in one direction in which the length from the rear end of the belt-like member 21 in the longitudinal direction to a portion held by the holding portion 24 is shortened in a state in which the portion of the belt-like member 21 is held by the holding portion 24 so that the headphone cover can be used on as many sizes of headphones as possible.

An apparatus for cleaning earphones that includes a brush element, a positioning element, and a motive element. A brush element selectively contacts and removes debris from an earphone, and a positioning element supports the earphone in a desired position relative to the brush element. A motive element is configured to move the brush element relative to the earphone. A corresponding system and method are also disclosed and claimed herein.

An apparatus for cleaning earphones that includes a brush element, a positioning element, and a motive element. A brush element selectively contacts and removes debris from an earphone, and a positioning element supports the earphone in a desired position relative to the brush element. A motive element is configured to move the brush element relative to the earphone. A corresponding system and method are also disclosed and claimed herein.

The disclosure provides a communication system that can be used with a face barrier to improve communication. The communication system can connect two communication devices via a short range wireless network, such as a Bluetooth compliant connection. The communication system can include, for example: (1) a microphone and (2) a first computing device configured to receive a first audio signal from the microphone and transmit the first audio signal to a speaker of a second computing device, and configured to receive a second audio signal from a microphone of the second computing device via the short range wireless system and transmit the second audio signal to a speaker associated with the first computing device, wherein each receive and transmit is via a short range wireless communication system. A protective device for a user is also disclosed.

A hearing restoration system with a housing having a user interface, a pump, control circuitry, and at least one pneumatic port. The hearing restoration system comprises one or more pneumatic ports, which are connected fluidly to one or more tubes. Furthermore, the housing may have a vacuum chamber fluidly connected to the third pneumatic port. A control circuitry is configured to detect a mode of operation of the system based on a measurement of pressure or vacuum inside the hearing aid restoration apparatus.

A portable dryer and disinfection device includes a container having an interior for receiving one or more electronic components for drying and disinfection. A lid is configured to be removably secured to an upper portion of the container. An ultraviolet light source is attached to a bottom portion of the lid, wherein ultraviolet light generated by the ultraviolet light source is directed into the interior of the container below the lid. A power source is disposed in the lid for providing electrical power to the ultraviolet light source. A tray is disposed within the interior of the container on which the one or more electronic components are placed for drying and disinfection. The tray includes holes that provide air flow communication through the removable tray. A removable desiccant holder is disposed at least partially within the interior of the container below the tray.
