In a sound processing method of operating audio equipment to perform sound processing relating to audio content in accordance with one embodiment, a distributor terminal communicates with the audio equipment and at least one listener terminal, the distributor terminal distributes the audio content from the distributor terminal to the at least one listener terminal, the distributor terminal specifies an operation listener terminal, from among the at least one listener terminal, that is permitted to change a sound processing parameter of the audio equipment, the operation listener terminal accepts the sound processing parameter changed by the operation listener terminal, the operation listener terminal transmits the sound processing parameter changed by the operation listener terminal to the distributor terminal, and the audio equipment performs the sound processing based on the changed sound processing parameter changed by the operation listener terminal.

In some cases, the amplifier includes: a controller for amplifying at least one input signal to provide an amplified audio output signal, the controller configured to operate the amplifier in at least two modes, including: a first mode including a dedicated connection to the at least one speaker; and a second mode including a direct physical connection with an additional audio amplifier and the dedicated connection to the at least one speaker, where in the first mode and the second mode the amplifier is configured to provide the amplified audio output signal to drive the at least one speaker, and in the second mode the amplifier is configured to forward the at least one input signal to enable the additional audio amplifier to control audio output at an additional speaker.

This disclosure relates to speakers and more specifically to an array speaker for distributing music uniformly across a room. A number of audio drivers can be radially distributed within a speaker housing so that an output of the drivers is distributed evenly throughout the room. In some embodiments, the exit geometry of the audio drivers can be configured to bounce off a surface supporting the array speaker to improve the distribution of music throughout the room. The array speaker can include a number of vibration isolation elements distributed within a housing of the array speaker. The vibration isolation elements can be configured reduce the strength of forces generated by a subwoofer of the array speaker.

Determining a duty schedule for a group of lighting devices providing a similar lighting service

A lighting device (31) is configured to determine a group of service-providing devices (41-44) and determine a schedule for the service-providing devices in the group. The group (101) comprises at least two service-providing devices capable of performing a similar or a same lighting service. The schedule indicates for each service-providing device of the group in which time period the service-providing device is able to receive messages such that at least one device of the determined group of service-providing devices is able to receive messages. The lighting device is configured to transmit the schedule to the service-providing devices.
