Trimmer tool shaft light attachment apparatus
A trimmer tool shaft light attachment apparatus for adding a light source to trimmer tools includes a clamp body having a clamp outer side, a clamp inner side, a clamp front edge, and a clamp back edge. The clamp body has a left arm portion, a medial portion, and a right arm portion to selectively engage a shaft of a trimmer tool. A light housing is coupled to the clamp inner side and has a housing front side and a housing inner side defining a housing cavity with the clamp inner side. An LED is coupled within the housing cavity and extends through the housing front side. A battery is coupled within the housing cavity and is in operational communication with the LED. A power button is coupled to the clamp body. The power button is in operational communication with the LED and the battery.
Implement drive system and grounds maintenance vehicle incorporating same
Various embodiments of a grounds maintenance vehicle are described herein. The vehicle includes a frame and an implement connected to the frame. The implement includes a housing, a first spindle pulley, and a second spindle pulley. The vehicle further includes a power system having a prime mover and an implement drive system. The implement drive system includes a drive pulley connected to the prime mover, an idler pulley, and an endless belt engaging the drive pulley, the idler pulley, the first spindle pulley, and the second spindle pulley. A first longitudinal distance between an idler pulley axis and a drive pulley axis is greater than a second longitudinal distance between a first spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis and a third longitudinal distance between a second spindle pulley axis and the drive pulley axis.
Mower deck lifting ramps
A pair of mower deck lifting ramps are mounted to a top surface of a mower deck for supporting a pair of tractor tires to ride over belts and pulleys on one side of the deck. A first carrier engagement member and a second carrier engagement member are attached to each drive-over ramp. The first and second carrier engagement members engage the upper and lower parts of a carrier attached to a lift arm of a loader to raise and turn the mower deck.
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE VEHICLE WITH REMOVABLE CONTROL TOWER SKIN
Various embodiments of a grounds maintenance vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle includes a frame and a control tower disposed at or near a rear end of the frame. The control tower includes a support structure that defines an interior space of the control tower and a nonplanar removable skin connected to the support structure. The removable skin includes a front side disposed over a front side of the support structure and a lateral side disposed over at least one of a left side or a right side of the support structure. A portion of at least one of the front side or lateral side of the removable skin is disposed above an uppermost surface of the prime mover. Further, the removable skin is adapted to be at least partially removed from the support structure to facilitate additional access to the interior space of the control tower.
Carburetor drain
A carburetor includes a carburetor bowl, a fuel supply pipe, a fuel drain pipe, and a valve. The carburetor bowl is configured to store fuel and provide the fuel to an air passage. The fuel supply pipe is connected a fuel tank and the carburetor bowl. The fuel drain pipe is connected to the carburetor bowl and the fuel supply line. The valve for the fuel drain pipe is configured to open and close in response to an orientation of the carburetor.
Expanding coupler for a mower and lawn vacuum
The expanding coupler for a mower and lawn vacuum may pull a suction hose adjacent to a deck adapter outlet. A plurality of hose springs may allow the suction hose to separate from the deck adapter outlet when the suction hose is pulled. The shroud may direct clippings from the deck adapter outlet to the suction hose when the suction hose is separated from the deck adapter outlet. As a non-limiting example, the suction hose may couple a deck adapter of a lawn vacuum to a suction hose adapter of the lawn vacuum. The suction hose may be pulled when the riding lawn mower makes a turn in a direction that is opposite the side that the suction hose is on. Fasteners may prevent the suction hose from separating from the hose adapter.
MOWER BLADE REMOVAL TOOL
A tool is provided for assisting in the removal and installation of blades on a rotary mower. The tool is configured to limit rotation of a blade during blade fastener tightening and loosening. Blade rotation is limited even after a fastener is loosened, allowing loosening or tightening of a second fastener.
Turf vehicle having accessory attachment system
Accessory attachments systems for use with turf vehicles are described and illustrated. Such systems permit outdoor maintenance tools to be secured and transported by the vehicle, e.g., in locations conveniently accessible by an operator of the vehicle without leaving the operator platform (e.g., seat), and removed from the vehicle when desired. In some embodiments, the system includes one or more connectors each having: a mounting portion adapted to be removably secured to a panel attached to the vehicle; and a tool holding portion adapted to receive and hold an outdoor maintenance tool. The mounting portion of each connector may attach to any one of a plurality of receivers formed on panels secured to various locations on the vehicle.
LAWN MOWER
A lawn mower includes: a rotation shaft coupled to a power source and extending in an approximately vertical direction a blade configured to rotate integrally with the rotation shaft and a housing having a downward opening and accommodating the blade such that the blade is rotatable; and a maintenance tool provided on the housing, the maintenance tool being contactable with the blade from the above. A cutting portion of the blade is capable of moving between a maintenance position at which the cutting portion is contactable with the maintenance tool and an operating position at which the cutting portion mows a lawn.
