The device components include a plate for removably securing the warning device to the mower deck; a manner for removably connecting and securing the plate to the deck; a warning emitter; and a way for securing a warning emitter to the plate. Alternative mechanical designs and light, sound, electro-magnetic force, and spray devices are shown as other embodiments. The warning device alerts the pollinating bees of the oncoming mower so the bees can survive by flying away and averting their demise by the mower. Alternative devices for warning are sound, light, smoke, spray, and Electro Magnetic force/pulse generators placed with the mowers.

A plurality of actuators is provided and each of the actuators is coupled to a deck of the lawnmower. A respective one of a plurality of wheels on the lawnmower is coupled to each of the actuators. Each of the actuators is in fluid communication with the pump and each of the actuators is extended when the pump is turned on. In this way the plurality of actuators lifts the deck of the lawnmower. Each of the actuators is retracted when the pump is turned off. In this way the plurality of actuators lowers the deck of the lawnmower.

A self-adjusting mower deck gauge wheel includes a first hydraulic cylinder fluidly connected to a second hydraulic cylinder. A gauge wheel is rotatably mounted on a gauge wheel shaft slideable in the first hydraulic cylinder between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position. In the fully retracted position, the mower deck rests flat on the ground and is not supported by gauge wheels. An orifice between the first and second hydraulic cylinders provides a high damping rate to slow travel of the gauge wheel shaft between the fully extended and fully retracted positions. A coil spring with a low spring rate also may be connected to a piston in the second hydraulic cylinder.

Wireless charging station, automatic mower and automatic mowing system

A wireless charging station for charging an automatic mower including a cutting device, an energy storage unit, a wireless electric energy transmitter and a wireless electric energy receiver electrically connected with the energy storage unit. The wireless charging station is at least partially located in a movement range of the automatic mower, and the top of the wireless charging station is lower than the bottom of the cutting device. An automatic mower matching the wireless charging station and an automatic mowing system using the wireless charging station and the automatic mower is further provided. The wireless charging station, the automatic mower, and the automatic mowing system enable the automatic mower to trim a lawn closer to the charging station, reduce a cutting corner in a movable range of the automatic mower, and improve trimming capability of the automatic mower for the lawn.

A grooming device for striping lawns includes a cover. A roller drum is rotatably connected to the cover. A frame is connected to the cover and extends away from the cover. At least one clamp is configured to adjustably secure the frame to a handle of a lawn mower. A connector for securing accessories includes an inner shell and an outer shell. A clamp insert is removably secured within an insert cavity defined between the inner shell and the outer shell.

A walk-behind mower has a mower deck, a plurality of wheels, a head, and a plurality of light sources. The wheels are rotatably coupled to the mower deck. The wheels move the walk-behind mower over a support surface in a forward direction and a rearward direction. The head is coupled to the mower deck. The head can store at least one battery pack. The light sources are coupled to at least one of the mower deck and the head. The light sources project light through a continuous illumination angle about the walk-behind mower. The illumination angle extends along an arc from the forward direction toward the rearward direction and is at least 90 degrees.

The invention includes a memory unit that stores electrical characteristics of a power receiving coil of an electric lawnmower and a power transfer coil of an external charger, wherein a battery side control circuit performs a test power transfer from a power transferring/receiving coil to the power receiving coil or the power transfer coil to obtain electrical characteristics of a power receiving side, compares the electrical characteristics to the electrical characteristics stored in the memory unit to determine whether the electrical characteristics are of a power transfer to the power receiving coil or of a power transfer to the power transfer coil, and performs control to switch to a power transfer mode with respect to the power receiving coil or to a power receiving mode with respect to the power transfer coil.
