Provided is a display device. The display device includes a display panel including two long sides extending in a first direction and two short sides extending in a second direction, a first sound generator on a first area of one surface of the display panel, the first sound generator outputs a first sound by vibrating the display panel, a second sound generator on a second area of the one surface of the display panel, the second sound generator outputs a second by vibrating the display panel, a bottom frame on the one surface of the display panel, and a first blocking member between the one surface of the display panel and the bottom frame and along edges of the display panel, the first blocking member includes at least one opening.
Flextensional transducers and related methods
Flextensional transducers and methods of using flextensional transducers. The transducer includes a piezoelectric element and may include at least one endcap coupled with the piezoelectric element. The endcap may have an outer portion formed of a first material and an inner portion formed of a second material having a greater flexibility than the first material. The endcap may be coupled with an annular piezoelectric element near either its outer circumference or its inner circumference. The piezoelectric element may be a planar disk or have a curved bowl-shape. The transducer may be coupled with, and at least partially restrained by, a support structure. The transducer may also be configured to permit light to pass therethrough.
Highly Sensitive Acoustic Fabric Including An Acoustic Fiber Transducer
The acoustic fiber transducer has a piezoelectric domain with Young's modulus, E.sub.piezo, and including a non-centrosymmetric crystalline-phase piezoelectric material and inorganic piezoelectric particles. At least one charge collector domain is in electrical connection with the piezoelectric domain and includes an electrically conductive material operative to collect electrical charge generated in the piezoelectric domain. At least one electrical conductor is in electrical contact with the at least one charge collector domain and includes an electrically conductive material operative to transport electrical charge from a charge collector domain to an end of the acoustic fiber transducer as an electrical signal indicative of input acoustic sound pressure on a matrix of textile fibers that includes the acoustic fiber transducer. Outer acoustic energy transmission material has a Young's modulus E.sub.trans, of 0.3 Pa-500 MPa, for matching vibrational modes of the textile fiber matrix. A ratio of E.sub.piezo/E.sub.trans is between about 5 and about 70,000.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image and a sound generating device on a rear surface of the display panel. The sound generating device is configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound. The sound generating device includes a first structure and a first passivation layer on one side of the first structure, at least a portion of the first passivation layer having a non-flat shape.
Sound apparatus and display apparatus including the same
A sound apparatus includes a piezoelectric device, a vibration member connected to the piezoelectric device, a first magnet connected to the piezoelectric device, and a second magnet facing the first magnet, which can readily realize a desired frequency characteristic.
Display module and mobile terminal
A display module and a mobile terminal are provided. The display module comprises a display panel comprising an earpiece area; and a vibration function layer disposed on a surface of the display panel and used to make mechanical vibrations under control of electric signals to generate sound waves; wherein the vibration function layer comprises an actuator and a vibration layer, the actuator comprises a vibrator disposed in the earpiece area and sound insulation sections disposed on one edge of the earpiece area, and the sound insulation sections are used to stop the sound waves of the earpiece area located on one side of the sound insulation sections from propagating to an opposite side of the sound insulation sections.
Piezoelectric transducer
Systems and techniques are provided for a piezoelectric transducer. A base plate includes a first electrical contact and a second electrical contact. A transduction element is mounted directly on the base plate and electrically connected to the first electrical contact. A spacer includes a via. The via includes electrically conductive material. The spacer is mounted on the base plate around the transduction element and the electrically conductive material of the via is electrically connected to the second electrical contact. A diaphragm is mounted on the spacer and on the transduction element.
Display device
A display device includes: a display panel; a frame disposed on the display panel and having a first hole and a second hole spaced apart from the first hole; a vibration device disposed on the display panel and received in the first hole; and a battery disposed on the display panel and received in the second hole. The frame has a first long side edge, a second long side edge opposite to the first long side edge, a first short side edge disposed between the first and second long side edges, and a second short side edge opposite to the first short side edge. The vibration device is disposed adjacent to the first long side edge, and the battery is disposed adjacent to the second long side edge.
CURABLE ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT THEREOF, AND TRANSDUCER AND THE LIKE EQUIPPED WITH SAID CURED PRODUCT
A curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided. The composition has relatively low viscosity before curing, can be easily processed into a film shape, and has excellent mechanical strength (e.g., tensile strength, tear strength, elongation, and the like) when, e.g., used as a dielectric layer in a transducer. Other applications are also provided. The composition comprises: (A1, A2) a combination of chain organopolysiloxanes having an alkenyl group only on an end of a molecular chain, and a degree of polymerization within a range of 50 to 550 and a range of 600 to 1000; (B) hydrophobically treated reinforcing silica; (C) a siloxane resin containing an alkenyl group; (D) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane; and (E) a catalyst. The mass ratio of components (A1)/(A2) is within a range of 0.45 to 1.30, and the sum of component (B) and component (C) is within a range of 10 to 25 mass % of the entire composition.
SOUND GENERATOR INCLUDING AN ULTRASOUND UNIT, DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SOUND GENERATOR, AND METHOD OF DRIVING DISPLAY DEVICE
A sound generator for a display device, including: a first vibration generation unit having a first electrode and a second electrode; a second vibration generation unit having a third electrode and a fourth electrode; and a vibration layer including: a first sub-vibration layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a second sub-vibration layer disposed between the third electrode and the fourth electrode, wherein the first vibration generation unit is configured to contract and expand the first sub-vibration layer based on a first driving voltage applied to the first electrode and a second driving voltage applied to the second electrode, and wherein the second vibration generation unit is configured to contract and expand the second sub-vibration layer based on a third driving voltage applied to the third electrode and a fourth driving voltage applied to the fourth electrode.
