DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a display panel displaying an image, a lower frame disposed under the display panel, a first vibration element attached to a lower surface of the display panel and which generates a first vibration based on a first vibration signal, a second vibration element disposed under the lower frame and which generates a second vibration based on a second vibration signal, and a first vibration driver circuit which provides the first vibration signal to the first vibration element, where a phase of the second vibration signal is opposite to a phase of the first vibration signal.
MEMS transducer with improved performance
The invention relates to a MEMS transducer comprising a vibratable membrane for generating or receiving pressure waves in a fluid in a vertical direction, wherein the vibratable membrane is supported by a carrier and the vibratable membrane exhibits two or more vertical sections which are formed parallel to the vertical direction and comprise at least one layer of actuator material. The end of the vibratable membrane is preferably connected to an electrode, such that the two or more vertical sections can be induced to vibrate horizontally by driving the at least one electrode, or such that an electrical signal can be generated at the at least one electrode when the two or more vertical sections are induced to vibrate horizontally.
ACOUSTIC OUTPUT DEVICES
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an acoustic output device comprising: a vibration element having a beam structure extending along a length direction of the vibration element; a piezoelectric element configured to deform in response to an electrical signal, the deformation of the piezoelectric element driving the vibration element to vibrate, wherein the piezoelectric element is attached to a first position of the beam structure, and a size of an attachment area along the length direction does not exceed 80% of a size of the beam structure along the length direction; and a mass element connected to a second position of the beam structure, wherein the first position and the second position are spaced apart along the length direction, and the vibration of the vibration element drives the mass element to vibrate in a direction perpendicular to the length direction.
Segmented transducers for acoustic applications
Some disclosed devices may include a display stack, a cover layer proximate a first side of the display stack and a segmented transducer array proximate a second side of the display stack. The segmented transducer array may include a plurality of separate transducer segments. Each of the separate transducer segments may include a piezoelectric layer and a thin-film transistor (TFT) layer. The separate transducer segments may include transmitter transducer segments and receiver transducer segments. In some examples, a spacing between at least a first plurality of the transmitter transducer segments may correspond to a display stack and cover layer oscillation mode frequency in a range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, from 15 kHz to 200 kHz or from 20 kHz to 400 kHz.
ACOUSTIC DEVICE
An acoustic device includes: a first vibrating body having a first vibration frequency; a second vibrating body having a second vibration frequency; and a base material having a disposition surface on which the second vibrating body is disposed. In a plan view of the base material, the first vibrating body and the second vibrating body are arranged in an in-plane direction of the disposition surface.
