The present invention provides a microphone device capable of preventing a breakdown of a signal processor, which is provided in a circuit case, processing signals from a microphone unit accommodated in a unit case, and preventing production of noise in a state the unit case is detached from the circuit case. A microphone device 1 includes a unit case 3 accommodating a microphone unit 31, a circuit case 4 accommodating an input terminal receiving signals from the microphone unit, and a signal processor processing the signals input to the input terminal, the unit case 3 being detachably fixed to the circuit case 4, and a detector (38, 44) detecting the attachment or detachment between the unit case and the circuit case. The detector grounds the input terminal in response to the detection of the detachment of the unit case from the circuit case.

An acoustic impedance on a rear acoustic terminal side is set such that satisfactory directionality is obtained even in a high tone range. A rear portion of a sealing member 30A fitted to a unit case 10 is formed in a convex spherical shape, ranging from an apex part 301 to a hem part 302. The sealing member 30A forms an acoustic distributed constant circuit including: a first portion 310 in which a cross-sectional area of a sound path continuously increases, the sound path running from acoustic resistance parts AR as sound holes 28a of an electroacoustic transducer 20 to reach a rear acoustic terminal 12 through an air chamber A; and a second portion 320 on the rear acoustic terminal 12 side in which a cross-sectional area continuously decreases toward a direction farther from a sound pickup source.

In accordance with methods and systems of the present disclosure, a mobile device may include an enclosure adapted such that the enclosure is readily transported by a user of the mobile device, a speaker associated with the enclosure for generating sound, and a controller within the enclosure, communicatively coupled to the speaker. The controller may be configured to receive a signal from the speaker, the signal induced at least in part by sound incident on the speaker other than sound generated by the speaker and process the signal.

The outer casing includes an inner surface that faces the inner chassis and an edge that faces the inner chassis with a gap between the inner chassis and the edge. The inner surface includes a sound passing groove that communicates with the sound passing hole. The sound passing groove extends to the edge.
