When the disposable set is loaded into the dialysis instrument, the blood pumping tube comes into registry with the blood pump head, the fresh dialysate pumping tube comes into registry with the fresh dialysate pump head, and spent dialysate pumping tube comes into registry with the spent dialysate pump head.

Disposable and System with a Port

The present disclosure relates to a disposable, which comprises a fluid line and a connector having a connector lumen, for fluidically connecting the fluid line to a first lumen of a first fluid guide of a port, which further comprises a second lumen. It further relates to a system with a disposable according to the present disclosure and with a port for establishing a fluid communication between at least one fluid line of the treatment apparatus, which fluid line is assigned to the interior of a blood treatment apparatus, and a connector of a fluid line of a disposable, which fluid line is assigned to the exterior of the treatment apparatus.

Method and apparatus for disinfection of a temperature control device for human body temperature control during extracorporeal circulation

The present application relates to a method for disinfection of a temperature control device for human body temperature control during extracorporeal circulation which temperature control is conducted by use of a heat exchanger and a temperature control liquid circulating through the heat exchanger and the temperature control device. According to the present application, the temperature control device is connected to a temperature control liquid supply and, during operation of the temperature control device for human body temperature control, a disinfectant is selectively added to the temperature control liquid supply upstream of the temperature control device.

SPENT DIALYSATE CONTAINER FOR DISPOSING SPENT DIALYSATE IN A DIALYSIS SYSTEM
20220072208 · 2022-03-10 ·

Dialysis systems for operating dialysis machines (e.g., peritoneal dialysis machines) for conducting dialysis treatments are disclosed. The dialysis system may include a spent dialysate container for receiving spent dialysate from a patient. In use, the spent dialysate containers are arranged and configured to provide one or more mechanical advantages to ease disposal of the spent dialysate. For example, the spent dialysate container may receive the spent dialysate from the patient and enable the patient or caregiver to dispose of the spent dialysate without requiring the patient or caregiver to lift bags of spent dialysate or incorporate lengthy drain lines. The spent dialysate container may include a reservoir to receive the spent dialysate, wheels to enable the patient or caregiver to transport the reservoir, mechanisms to facilitate disposal of the spent dialysate from the reservoir, a nozzle to dispose of the spent dialysate, and/or a disinfectant to disinfect the drain.

MEDICAL FLUID GENERATION SYSTEM

A medical fluid generation system is disclosed. In an example, a peritoneal dialysis fluid generation system includes water purification equipment configured to provide purified water; a presterilized tubing set including a container for storing peritoneal dialysis fluid; at least one glucose or buffer concentrate; and a hemodialysis machine in fluid communication with the water purification equipment. The hemodialysis machine includes at least one mixing pump for mixing the at least one glucose or buffer concentrate with the purified water to form peritoneal dialysis fluid, a dialysis fluid pump for delivering the peritoneal dialysis fluid to the container, and a control unit configured to control the at least one mixing pump to form the peritoneal dialysis fluid and the dialysis fluid pump to deliver the peritoneal dialysis fluid to the container.

PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM HAVING DISINFECTION FLUID PUMPING AND PATHWAY

A peritoneal dialysis system includes a housing; a dialysis fluid pump housed by the housing; a patient line extendable from the housing; and a hose reel located within the housing, the hose reel configured to coil the patient line when disconnected from a patient. The patient line may be a dual lumen patient line, wherein the dual lumen patient line is coiled about the hose reel during a disinfection sequence for disinfecting the dual lumen patient line and the dialysis fluid pump.

METHOD FOR PERITONEAL DIALYSIS AND EXTRACORPOREAL BLOOD TREATMENTS
