WEARABLE SOUND SYSTEM WITH CONFIGURABLE PRIVACY MODES

An audio sharing system is configured to operate in at least two modes of operation. In a private mode, the audio sharing system outputs sound only to a user and may isolate the user from the surrounding acoustic environment. In a public mode of operation, the audio sharing system broadcasts sound to the user and to any other listeners in proximity to the user, thereby sharing sound in a social manner. The audio sharing system may also operate in other modes of operation that allow the selective sharing of sounds.

Self-adjusting spherical speaker

A self-adjusting spherical speaker includes a remote control handle, a megaphone, a vibration sensor, an alarm, a spherical speaker body and a digital signal processor. The remote control handle is provided for issuing a manual control signal according to user's input; the digital signal processor controls a playing mode of the spherical speaker body according to the manual control signal; the vibration sensor is provided for detecting the amplitude of vibration of a police car body. If the digital signal processor determines that the amplitude of vibration of the police car body is greater than a predetermined vibration threshold, the alarm will be controlled to carry out an alarm operation, and the digital signal processor will convert a user's voice received by the megaphone into an electrical control signal to control the playing mode of the spherical speaker. Therefore, the operating mode of the spherical speaker can be self-adjusted.

Integrated karaoke device

The present invention discloses an integrated karaoke device, including a microphone and a sound box. The sound box includes a sound chamber (400) containing a loudspeaker (500). The integrated karaoke device further includes a connecting part (100) made of flexible material that is fixedly connected between a bottom of the microphone and a top of the sound chamber (400). The use of a flexible material connecting part (100) rather than a solid structural part reduces the transmission to the microphone of sound vibration generated by the sound box. The beneficial effect of implementing the present invention is that a flexible material connecting part is fixedly connected between the bottom of the microphone and the top of the sound chamber, and meanwhile, a gap is kept between the bottom of a printed circuit board (PCB) and the top of the sound chamber; and because the flexible material connecting part can effectively reduce sound vibration, the transmission of vibration to the microphone from the sound box can be effectively eliminated, thereby preventing squealing, and enabling integration of the microphone and the sound box for use in karaoke.

Transmitting messages to a display device based on detected audio output

Provided herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for transmitting messages to a display device based on detected audio output from the display device. In a given embodiment, a digital media player can transmit a message to the display device to control the audio output of the speaker using a transmission protocol, and transmit a set of instructions to the remote control device to confirm the display device processed the message by determining whether an attribute associated with the audio output from the speaker is within a predetermined threshold. In response to receiving a message that an attribute associated with the audio output is within a predetermined threshold, the digital media player can determine that the display device is enabled to receive communication via the transmission protocol.
