HEADPHONE EARCUP MOUNT IN CONTINUOUS HEADBAND-SPRING HEADPHONE SYSTEM

Various implementations include headphone systems. In one implementation a headband for a headphone system includes: a continuous spring section sized to extend over a head of a user; an earcup mount coupled with an end of the continuous spring section, where the continuous spring section and the earcup mount form an arcuate joint, and where the earcup mount is configured to rotate relative to the continuous spring section at the arcuate joint; and a friction assembly spanning between the continuous spring section and the earcup mount, the friction assembly linearly arranged across the arcuate joint and configured to provide a substantially constant resistance to the rotation of the earcup mount relative to the continuous spring section.

MEMS DEVICE AND ELECTRONICS APPARATUS

The present invention relates to a speaker. A speaker according to the present invention includes: a pair of permanent magnets arranged on both empty side surfaces of a solenoid coil formed in a rectangular container shape, and first and second setting cases configured to set the locations of the solenoid coil and the permanent magnets or to minimize leakage flux. In a fabrication step according to the present invention, the locations of the solenoid coil and the permanent magnets can be accurately set, and thus an advantage arises in that manufacturing efficiency is improved.

Loudspeaker

A novel loudspeaker with a reflex enclosure that has the reflex port terminating to the bottom of the enclosure. The loudspeaker further includes a stand which is removably attached to the bottom of the enclosure so as to create a clearance between the bottom and the surface supporting the loudspeaker.

Adjustable Sound Bar End Cap
20240098395 · 2024-03-21 ·

Improvements in an adjustable sound bar end cap to allow for the end caps to be outwardly adjustable relative to the frame. The end caps translate from the frame to provide movement of the end caps to match exact variations due to differences in finishes widths per different brands. Springs push the end caps from the frame to maintain a constant pressure between the frame and the end cap(s). This configuration gives 0 to 1 inch of movement per side. The fastener compresses the spring to remain in compression. Multiple fasteners allow for even compression and perpendicular fit of the end cap relative to the frame. A cover plate that covers the adjustment mechanism and adjustment screws. The cover is made from a ferrous material that is attracted to a magnet within the frame to allow for secure holding of the cover plate and easy removal.

SPEAKERS

A speaker can have a main body with a generally spheroidal shape, which can be supported standing on its end. The speaker can include a subwoofer that faces forward. A plurality of mid-range drivers can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and radially outward. A plurality of tweeters can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and generally outward. The outer housing portion of the speaker can be covered with a fabric material. A user interface ring 162 can be touch sensitive to receive input, and can have a plurality of lights that can be illuminated separately to convey information to the user.

Directional sound capture using image-based object tracking

A method for directional sound capture. The method includes capturing, using a camera device, a sequence of images of a scene comprising a light source attached to a sound source object, detecting, by a hardware processor based on a pattern of local light change across the sequence of images, the light source in the scene, determining a direction of the sound source object by at least determining a location of the light source in at least one image of the sequence of images, transmitting, to a direction control device coupled to a microphone, a control signal to direct a sensitivity direction of the microphone towards the sound source object, and capturing, using the microphone and in response to directing the sensitivity direction of the microphone towards the sound source object, the sound emitted from the sound source object.

Speaker Box
20190379958 · 2019-12-12 ·

The speaker box provided by the present disclosure includes a housing with an accommodation space and a speaker in the accommodation space. The speaker includes a diaphragm for radiating sound. The housing includes a ring-shaped step for fixing the speaker. The step further forms a fastening slot for fixing the speaker. The stop further includes a number of recesses extending from a surface toward the fastening slot along a direction away from the fastening slot. BY virtue of the recesses, without changing the vibration space, the acoustic capacitor of the front cavity is increased, and the harmonic peak is lowered. Acoustic performance is accordingly improved.
