SPEAKER SYSTEM FOR BATH AND SHOWER ENVIRONMENTS
A showerhead assembly includes a waterway assembly and a wireless speaker configured to be removably coupled to the waterway assembly. The waterway assembly includes a back plate and a face plate coupled to the back plate. The back plate includes an inlet. The face plate is coupled to the back plate and defines a plurality of outlets. The face plate also defines a through-hole that extends through the waterway assembly. The wireless speaker is configured to be disposed within the through-hole when coupled to the waterway assembly.
DOCKING SPEAKER WITH WIRELESS CHARGER
A docking speaker includes a case enclosing a pair of push-push woofers located around two opposite lateral sides and outwardly facing away from each other in the transverse direction, a wireless charging module located between the pair of push-push woofers in the transverse direction and forming an upward oblique seating face on which the smart phone is adapted to be positioned, and a full range speaker located between the pair of push-push woofers in the transverse direction and aligned below the wireless charging module in the vertical direction when viewed along the front-to-back direction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CALIBRATING SPEAKERS
Systems and method are disclosed for facilitating efficient calibration of filters for correcting room and/or speaker-based distortion and/or binaural imbalances in audio reproduction, and/or for producing three-dimensional sound in stereo system environments. According to some embodiments, using a portable device such as a smartphone or tablet, a user can calibrate speakers by initiating playback of a test signal, detecting playback of the test signal with the portable device's microphone, and repeating this process for a number of speakers and/or device positions (e.g., next to each of the user's ears). A comparison can be made between the test signal and the detected signal, and this can be used to more precisely calibrate rendering of future signals by the speakers.
Personal device docking station for video calls
A personal device docking station can include a base, a neck with a stationary and non-stationary portion and a rest pad that can hold a personal device such as a smartphone or tablet. When a personal device is docked in the docking station, bidirectional audio feed is established between the personal device and the docking station. A user can receive audio feed from the docking station's speakers and transmit audio feed via a plurality of microphones. The rest pad of the docking station can have a window or cutout that aligns with the camera of the docked personal device. The non-stationary portion of the neck can include multiple motorized rotation heads that allow for horizontal and vertical rotation of the rest pad and docked device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USER LOCALIZATION
Systems and methods are disclosed in which a playback device transmits a first sound signal including a predetermined waveform. In one example, the playback device receives a second sound signal including at least one reflection of the first sound signal. The second sound signal is processed to determine a location of a person relative to the playback device, and a characteristic of audio reproduction by the playback device is selected, based on the determined location of the person.
Ultrasonic transmission for presence detection
Examples described herein relate to transitioning a playback session between portable playback devices such as smart headphones, earbuds, and handheld speakers with playback devices of a zone-based media playback system. Exemplary techniques facilitate continuity of playback when transitioning between locations (e.g., from at home to on-the-go or vice versa) or between listening paradigms (e.g., personal or out-loud playback of audio content). An example implementation includes detecting a swap trigger, determining the source playback device(s) and target playback device(s), and performing a playback session swap between the source playback device(s) and target playback device(s).

System, method, and device for audio reproduction
System, device, and method for audio reproduction are provided. The system includes a media computing device and an electronic device connected such that their speakers can be used in combination in optimizing the audio reproduction of media being played or streamed. Each device can be portable and the audio reproduction can include virtual/spatial/surround audio reproduction. When connecting, the media computing device serves as a host and the electronic device serves as a slave for data communication. As such, the media computing device can process an audio signal into any portion for reproduction on any speaker. Further, when connecting and if needed, the electronic device serves as a host and the media computing device serves as a slave for power management. Depending on the system configuration, a suitable connection can be made via a wireless or single cable wired connection between the media computing device and the electronic device.
Mobile System Including Base Station and Wireless Earbud
The disclosure provides a personal media system including a base station and a wireless earbud. The personal media system interacts with a smartphone for wireless pairing. The base station has a connection hole to receive the wireless earbud. When the wireless earbud is plugged into the connection hole, the base station and wireless earbud form an integrated body.
Mobile System with Wireless Earbud
The disclosure herein provides a mobile system including a base station and a wireless earbud. The base station comprising a connection hole, a user input button, at least one processor, at least one memory, and circuitry. The wireless earbud is configured for plugging into the connection hole of the base station to form an integrated body with the base station. The system is capable of wirelessly pairing with a smartphone for the wireless earbud to receive audio data originated from the smartphone.
