Vehicle entertainment assemblies and systems
Methods and systems are disclosed relating to in-vehicle entertainment, information presentation, and/or processing. Aspects of multimedia in-vehicle entertainment systems that may incorporate removable and/or portable tablet-type computing devices are described. In certain configurations, a hinged tablet computer carrier includes guide rails into which a portable tablet computer may slide while in an open position, and which can hinge into a closed or locked position that holds the tablet computer in place, positions it for viewing, and effects mechanical and electrical coupling of the tablet computer with other components of the in-vehicle entertainment system. Exemplary placement could include headrest, seatback, overhead, or in-dash mounting. Hinging or sliding could be vertical or horizontal. Various other mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical aspects of the methods and systems are described.
Mobile device docking station
A mobile computing device docking station is provided. The device includes an open enclosure comprising a curved inner surface. A first wall forms a first portion of the open enclosure. A second wall forms a second portion of the open enclosure, the second wall is opposite the first wall, and the first wall extends higher in a direction of an opening of the open enclosure than the second wall. A protrusion extends from the curved inner surface between the first wall and the second wall. Further provided is a combination mobile computing device and docking station and a method of projecting sound emitted by a mobile computing device.
Mobile System Including Base Station and Wireless Earbud
The disclosure provides a personal media system including a base station and a wireless earbud. The personal media system interacts with a smartphone for wireless pairing. The base station has a connection hole to receive the wireless earbud. When the wireless earbud is plugged into the connection hole, the base station and wireless earbud form an integrated body.
Systems and methods for calibrating speakers
Systems and method are disclosed for facilitating efficient calibration of filters for correcting room and/or speaker-based distortion and/or binaural imbalances in audio reproduction, and/or for producing three-dimensional sound in stereo system environments. According to some embodiments, using a portable device such as a smartphone or tablet, a user can calibrate speakers by initiating playback of a test signal, detecting playback of the test signal with the portable device's microphone, and repeating this process for a number of speakers and/or device positions (e.g., next to each of the user's ears). A comparison can be made between the test signal and the detected signal, and this can be used to more precisely calibrate rendering of future signals by the speakers.
Speaker system for bath and shower environments
A showerhead assembly includes a waterway assembly and a wireless speaker configured to be removably coupled to the waterway assembly. The waterway assembly includes a back plate and a face plate coupled to the back plate. The back plate includes an inlet. The face plate is coupled to the back plate and defines a plurality of outlets. The face plate also defines a through-hole that extends through the waterway assembly. The wireless speaker is configured to be disposed within the through-hole when coupled to the waterway assembly.
Multifunctional stand and support for mobile terminal
A multifunctional mobile terminal stand and support device includes a base, a sound amplifying hole, and an atomization assembly. The base defines a first groove and a through hole, the base includes opposing first and second side surfaces, and the first groove is arranged on the first side surface. One end of the through hole is connected to the first groove, and other end of the through hole passes through the second side surface. The sound amplifying hole on one side of the base is connected to the first groove, and the second end of the sound amplifying hole passes through the base. The atomization assembly includes a mounting portion with second groove on the base and an atomizer, the atomizer is arranged in the second groove.
PERSONAL MEDIA SYSTEM INCLUDING BASE STATION AND WIRELESS EARBUD
The disclosure provides a personal media system including a base station and a wireless earbud. The personal media system interacts with a smartphone for wireless pairing. Interpolation for decomposed representations of a sound field
In general, techniques are described for performing an interpolation with respect to decomposed versions of a sound field. A device comprising one or more processors may be configured to perform the techniques. The processors may be configured to obtain decomposed interpolated spherical harmonic coefficients for a time segment by, at least in part, performing an interpolation with respect to a first decomposition of a first plurality of spherical harmonic coefficients and a second decomposition of a second plurality of spherical harmonic coefficients.
System with speaker, transceiver and related devices
An audio system includes a base station, an interface that enables wireless transmission of audio content from a handheld media device to the base station, and one or more remote speakers configured to receive the audio content from the base station. The base station includes a housing, a speaker integrated within the housing to produce an audible signal from the audio content provided by the handheld media device, and a transceiver integrated within the housing for wirelessly transmitting the audio content to the one or more remote speakers. The one or more remote speakers are configured to wirelessly relay the audio content, thereby to supply the audio content beyond the transmission range of the transceiver.
Electronic device with wireless earbud
The disclosure herein provides a personal wireless media station including a main body and a wireless earbud. The personal wireless media station may detect that an earbud connector of the wireless earbud is connected to a main body connector of the main body, play sound through a speaker of the main body while the earbud connector is connected to the main body connector, detect that the earbud connector has disconnected from the main body connector, cease to play sound through the speaker of the main body in response to detecting that the earbud connector has disconnected from the main body connector, and wireless send audio data to the wireless earbud and cause sound to be played through the wireless earbud while the earbud connector is not connected to the main body connector.
