Speaker for reflecting sound off viewing screen or display surface
Embodiments are described for rendering spatial audio content through a system that is configured to reflect audio off of one or more surfaces of a listening environment. The system includes an array of audio drivers distributed around a room, wherein at least one driver of the array of drivers is configured to project sound waves toward one or more surfaces of the listening environment for reflection to a listening area within the listening environment and a renderer configured to receive and process audio streams and one or more metadata sets that are associated with each of the audio streams and that specify a playback location in the listening environment.
Spatial sound reproduction using multichannel loudspeaker systems
An apparatus for spatial audio signal decoding associated with a plurality of speaker nodes (201, 203, 205, 207, 209) placed within a three dimensional space, the apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including a computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to determine a non-overlapping virtual surface arrangement (400), the virtual surface arrangement (400) comprising a plurality of virtual surfaces (421, 423, 431, 433) with corners positioned at at least three speaker nodes of the plurality of speaker nodes (201, 203, 205, 207, 209) and sides connecting pairs of corners configured to be non-intersecting with at least one defined virtual plane within the three dimensional space. The apparatus is further caused to generate gains for the speaker nodes based on the determined the virtual surface arrangement and apply the gains to at least one audio signal, the at least one audio signal to be positioned within the three dimensional space.
MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
This application provides a multimedia information processing method and apparatus, and a storage medium. The method includes: determining a data transmission delay between a terminal device and a first playing device of at least two playing devices; determining a clock offset between the terminal device and the first playing device based on the data transmission delay between the terminal device and the first playing device; and determining, based on the clock offset between the terminal device and the first playing device, a first start playing time of multimedia information corresponding to the first playing device. The multimedia information processing method and apparatus, and storage medium provided in this application can enable each of the at least two playing devices to synchronously play multimedia information corresponding to the playing device, to improve listening experience of a user.
SOUND BAR, AUDIO SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Provided is a sound bar including: a rear sound signal generating unit that generates a rear sound from an input audio signal; and an output unit that outputs the rear sound generated by the rear sound signal generating unit to a rear sound speaker.
SOUND BOX ASSEMBLY, DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND AUDIO OUTPUT METHOD
A sound box assembly for a display apparatus, includes: a housing defining a chamber therein, and a connecting part connected to the housing, and being configured to be connected with the display apparatus; and a loudspeaker arranged in the chamber of the housing, a sound-image center being disposed at a center position of the display apparatus when the loudspeaker playing sound. The loudspeaker includes a squawker arranged at a middle portion of the housing, a woofer and a tweeter. One of the woofer and the tweeter is arranged above the squawker and the other one of the woofer and the tweeter is arranged below the squawker.
Display device and speaker assembly
A display device and a speaker assembly are provided, the speaker assembly is located in a first rear housing or a second rear housing and includes a shell, a first speaker unit and a second speaker unit, the shell has a cavity, the cavity has a baffle disposed therein, the cavity is divided into a first cavity and a second cavity by the baffle, the first speaker unit and the second speaker unit are respectively located in the first cavity and the second cavity, and the speaker has a relatively low degree of distortion and a relatively high reliability.
Method and apparatus for an ultrasonic emitter system floor audio unit
Methods and systems are provided for audio devices with enhanced directional operations. An example audio device includes an orientation determination circuit configured to determine an orientation of at least a part of a user's body, a first audio output component, a second audio output component, and a controller configured to control the first audio output component and the second audio output component based on the determined orientation. The determined orientation may correspond to a positional nature of the user within a three-dimensional space around the user. The controller may be configured to provide a three-dimensional audio environment according to the user. The three-dimensional audio environment is aligned according to a visual input provided to the user.
Image display device
An image display device includes a device body having a front surface with a display surface that is substantially rectangular and is for displaying an image; a stand that is placed on a placement surface and supports the device body; a support component that is fixed to the stand, is disposed on a rear surface of the device body, and rotatably supports the device body about a rotation shaft between a horizontal orientation in which the display surface is in a landscape orientation and a vertical orientation in which the display surface is in a portrait orientation; and a speaker that is supported by the support component and is disposed on the rear surface of the device body via the support component. The speaker emits sound toward the placement surface.
SPEAKER SYSTEM WITH OVERHEAD SOUND PROJECTION
A speaker system is provided with a cabinet with a front face. At least one forward-firing driver is supported by the cabinet to project sound along a first axis that is generally perpendicular to the front face of the cabinet. At least one upward-firing driver is supported by the cabinet and arranged above the at least one forward-firing driver to project high frequency sound along a second axis that is angularly offset from the first axis at an acute splay angle. A controller is programmed to provide a mid-range frequency component of a front audio channel to the at least one forward-firing driver, and to provide a high frequency component of a top audio channel to the upward-firing driver.
