The signal processor is configured to divide a multi-channel signal into a front sound field signal group (FSG) and a rear sound field signal group (RSG); mix FSG (RSG) and generate the FS (RS), wherein the number of the FS (RS) is equal to the number of the drivers of the front speaker (wearable speaker); and perform time delay adjustment on FS or RS, so that a difference between times for sound waves emitted by the front speaker and by the wearable speaker to respectively reach ears of the listener is less than a default value.

Example techniques relate to audio generation in a media playback system. Based on one or more first functions and first characteristics of an area, the system may generate first audio that includes a first audio signal and a second audio signal. The system provides the first audio signal to at least one first audio driver and the second audio signal to at least one second audio driver, thereby causing a first playback device and a second playback device to play back the first audio synchronously. The system receives second characteristics of the area and based on one or more second functions and the second characteristics, generates second audio comprising a third audio signal and a fourth audio signal. The system provides the third audio signal to the at least one first audio driver and the fourth audio signal to the at least one second audio driver.

Controlling the outputting of the audio output may include configuring at least one audio output related parameter or function for optimizing directionality of the audio output based on the positioning related information.

In at least one embodiment, a loudspeaker includes a housing structure having a multi-sided cross-sectional profile, a first speaker configuration coupled to a first face of the housing structure, and a second speaker configuration coupled to a second face of the housing structure. The first face of the housing structure and the second face of the housing structure may be adjacent to each other, and the first face of the housing structure and the second face of the housing structure may be substantially planar, in one or more examples. The loudspeaker may further comprise a controller configured to rotate the housing structure. For example, the housing structure may be rotated about a central axis of the housing structure. Further, the housing may be an elongated triangular structure in at least one example.
