A dual magnetic gap embodiment has an inside annular spacer member (e.g., 355A) and a co-planar outside annular spacer member (e.g., 350-O), each made of a thermally conductive steel alloy.

Electrodynamic actuator for acoustic oscillations

The present disclosure relates to an electrodynamic actuator configured to operate within a wide frequency range up to the entire spectrum of audio frequencies (20 Hz to 20 KHz). The actuator comprises an open-ended hollow body, a package-type magnetic system comprising one or more pairs of magnets arranged in the hollow body, a sound-emitting membrane arranged externally to the hollow body, a support frame extending from the membrane into the hollow body and having two or more coils attached thereto, and conductive tracks connecting each of the coils with an AC power source. Each pair of magnets comprises two coaxially fixed magnets, one of which surrounds another in the form of a ring. There is a magnetic gap between the magnets in each pair of magnets. Moreover, the magnets in each pair of magnets have different magnetizations, so that their magnetic fields are directed in opposite directions.

At least one further coil is concentrically arranged with respect to the dynamic coil and which defines one of: an additional dynamic coil if arranged on or in and wound along at least the central region of the diaphragm, and a static field coil if wound adjacent to the diaphragm and configured to electromagnetically interact with the dynamic coil. The disclosure further relates to a loudspeaker, a microphone and an electronic device each comprising an electroacoustic transducer according to the present disclosure.

MULTI-STRAND INDEPENDENT INPUT-OUTPUT VOICE COIL
20170366901 · 2017-12-21 ·

Disclosed is a multi-strand independent input-output voice coil. The voice coil is a potted coil, which is formed by winding in the following steps: a. forming a multi-strand flat cable by synchronizing and juxtaposing at least two enameled wires; b. winding the multi-strand flat cable to form the potted coil, each enameled wire including independent current input and output ends; and c. under the control of an ICE chip, forming, by the enameled wires together, a multiple-input multiple-output electrical connection end to correspond to vibration drive control of sounds at different frequencies separately. During use, the independent current input and output ends of the enameled wires reduce impact of inertia in vibration of a vibrating diaphragm and impact of a frequency and current on a sound during a change in a volume or tone. Quality of a sound made by the loudspeaker is notably improved.

SOUND PRODUCTION USING SPEAKER ENCLOSURE WITH REDUCED INTERNAL PRESSURE
20230171536 · 2023-06-01 ·

Techniques are provided for generating sound using a speaker mounted to an enclosure (e.g., speaker cabinet) wherein a gas pressure level (e.g., air pressure level) inside the enclosure is lower than an ambient air pressure level outside the enclosure. The reduced gas pressure level within the enclosure provides an environment with a reduced pressure level at a back side of a speaker cone of the speaker, which enhances a low frequency response for a given speaker size, while also minimizing resonant frequencies and phase cancellation issues which could otherwise occur with conventional speaker systems in which acoustic sound waves are generated at the back side of the speaker cone. A pressure compensation system is utilized counteract a force applied to the front side of the speaker cone as a result of the gas pressure level inside the enclosure being lower than the ambient air pressure level outside the enclosure.
