HEARING INSTRUMENT CHARGER DEVICE AND SYSTEM, AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A HOLDER THEREFOR

A method of manufacturing a charger insert part of a hearing instrument charger device comprising a charger casing having a receiving portion, and a first charger element, includes: obtaining a first virtual model of the rechargeable hearing instrument shaped or to be shaped to at least partly conform to a shape of a portion of an ear canal of a user, wherein the first virtual model comprises an allocated position for a second charger element; obtaining a second virtual model of the charger insert part for manufacturing the charger insert part, such that when the charger insert part is placed in the receiving portion, the first charger element will be in a relation with the second charger element; and shaping, by a manufacturing process, the charger insert part based on the second virtual model, the second virtual model being based on the first virtual model.

Charging-induced implant operation

Presented herein are techniques for initiating a night-time mode of operation in an implantable hearing prosthesis in response to detection of night-time recharging operations. More specifically, an implantable hearing prosthesis comprises a rechargeable battery that is configured to be recharged via an external night-time charging device, such as a pillow charger. The implantable hearing prosthesis is configured to detect inductive charging of the rechargeable battery by the external night-time charging device. In response, the implantable hearing prosthesis is switched to a night-time mode of operation.

This disclosure relates to bispecific antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof, wherein the bispecific antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof specifically bind to two different antigens with different binding affinities.

HEARING INSTRUMENTS WITH RECEIVER POSTERIOR TO BATTERY
20220174434 · 2022-06-02 ·

As described in some examples of this disclosure, a Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing instrument comprises processing circuity, a battery that stores energy for use by the processing circuitry, and a housing that contains a receiver configured to output sound. The receiver is positioned within the hearing instrument posterior to the processing circuitry and the power source.

Charging protocol for rechargeable hearing systems

Embodiments of the invention include a method of charging a rechargeable battery, the method comprising the steps of: detecting the presence of a rechargeable hearing aid in a hearing aid recharger; generating a unique random ID in the charger; transmitting the unique random ID to the hearing aid using an extremely low power protocol; demodulating the unique ID in the hearing aid; using the demodulated unique ID in a low power protocol to advertise the hearing aid on a network which includes the charger; associating the hearing aid to the charger when the charger which broadcast the unique ID receives that unique ID from a hearing aid using a wireless protocol; using the wireless protocol to communicate between the associated charging station and hearing aid; radiating power from the charger to the hearing aid; and ending the association when the hearing aid is removed from the charger.
