METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ESTABLISHING NETWORK CONNECTION TO A HEARING AID
A system for providing a network connection for a computer device (21) to at least one hearing aid (1) having a gateway to the Internet (16), comprises a user account server (25) accessible over the Internet, and providing a user account database (26), each user account includes a unique identity for an associated hearing aid; a control server (19) providing a hearing aid connection register (19a) including said unique identity of hearing aids associated with current connection information; and a network connection handling element (43) adapted for detecting the presence of a wireless connection between said at least one hearing aid (1) and said gateway, and for uploading current connection information to said control server (19). The control server (19) is adapted for updating the connection information in the hearing aid connection register (19a) when receiving communicated connection information, and for providing the current connection information to a computer device (21) upon request. The computer device (21) is adapted for establishing a direct connection to the at least one hearing aid (1) based on the current connection information requested from said control server (19). The invention also provides a method for providing a network connection to a hearing aid, a computer-readable storage medium and a hearing aid.
Granting access rights to a sub-set of the data set in a user account
A hearing aid (10, 11) has a memory (123) for storing personal settings for alleviating a hearing loss for the hearing aid user. A user account is created from an Internet enabled computer device (17) on a remote server (25), and the user account includes the personal settings for alleviating a hearing loss for the hearing aid user and personal information. A wireless connection is set up between the hearing aid (10, 11) and the personal communication device (13), and the personal communication device (13) is identified as a gateway to the Internet for said hearing aid. The user grants access rights to a third party to modify data in a sub-set of the user account stored on the server (25).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING PERSONALIZED AUDIO REPLAY ON A PLURALITY OF CONSUMER DEVICES
Systems and methods for processing an audio signal are provided for server-mediated sound personalization on a plurality of consumer devices. A user hearing test is conducted on one of a plurality of audio output devices. Next, the hearing data of the user's hearing test is outputted to a server and stored on the server's database along with a unique user identifier. Next, a set of DSP parameters for a sound personalization algorithm are calculated from the user's hearing data. The DSP parameter set is then outputted to one of a plurality of audio output devices when the user logs in with their unique identifier on an application on the audio output device.
REMOTELY UPDATING A HEARING AID PROFILE
Broadly speaking, the embodiments disclosed herein describe replacing a current hearing aid profile stored in a hearing aid. In one embodiment, the hearing aid profile is updated by sending a hearing aid profile update request to a hearing aid profile service, receiving the updated hearing aid profile from the hearing aid profile service, and replacing the current hearing aid profile in the hearing aid with the updated hearing aid profile.

A hearing device has a signal processor which has an adjustable parameter that has a given setting at a given time. The parameter is set depending on the situation by selecting a setting, depending on an environmental situation and by a learning machine. A current setting of the parameter can be rated by feedback from a user. In a first training procedure the learning machine is passively trained by negative feedback signals, by rating feedback from the user as dissatisfaction with the current setting and by assuming the user's satisfaction with the current setting as long as no feedback is given. In a second training procedure the learning machine is trained by changing the current setting independently of the feedback from the user and in spite of an assumed satisfaction with the current setting, so that the user is offered a different setting which can then be rated by feedback.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR INTERACTIVELY ASSISTING A USER IN EVALUATING A HEARING LOSS
A system, method and computer program are configured to interactively assist a user in evaluating and/or configuring a hearing aid. The system is equipped with a display element, with an input unit and with a processing unit. The environmental situations are shown on the display element. Based on a user input, a selected section of the environmental situation is determined and highlighted. A specific hearing situation is presented on the basis of the selection made by the user. An evaluation scale is displayed, allowing the user to enter a hearing value for a self-assessment of his hearing ability for the specific hearing situation, and the hearing value entered by the user is recorded. The above steps are repeated and hearing values are recorded for different specific hearing situations. Based on the hearing values entered by the user, setting values for the hearing aid are determined.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEARING SYSTEM
A method for operating a hearing aid system. The hearing aid system includes a hearing aid with at least one input transducer, an output transducer, and a motion sensor. The movement of a hearing aid system user is captured as movement data of the motion sensor. A probability for a future fall or trip event on the part of the hearing aid system user is determined on the basis of the captured movement data. A perceptible warning signal is generated when the probability reaches or exceeds a stored threshold value.
REMOTELY UPDATING A HEARING AID PROFILE
Broadly speaking, the embodiments disclosed herein describe replacing a current hearing aid profile stored in a hearing aid. In one embodiment, the hearing aid profile is updated by sending a hearing aid profile update request to a hearing aid profile service, receiving the updated hearing aid profile from the hearing aid profile service, and replacing the current hearing aid profile in the hearing aid with the updated hearing aid profile.
Systems and Methods for Facilitating Interaction with a Graphical User Interface View During a Hearing Device Fitting Session
An exemplary system includes a processor communicatively coupled to a memory and configured to execute instructions to access configuration parameters indicative of a current configuration of a hearing device and determine, based on the configuration parameters, a plurality of text-based notifications associated with the current configuration of the hearing device. Each text-based notification included in the plurality of text-based notifications may be indicative of a different issue to be considered when fitting the hearing device to a user. The processor may further execute the instructions to present, within a graphical user interface view displayed by a display device, a hearing device fitting interface concurrently with a listing of at least some of the plurality of text-based notifications.

The present invention regards a hearing aid device at least one environment sound input, a wireless sound input, an output transducer, electric circuitry, a transmitter unit, and a dedicated beamformer-noise-reduction-system. The hearing aid device is configured to be worn in or at an ear of a user. The at least one environment sound input is configured to receive sound and to generate electrical sound signals representing sound. The wireless sound input is configured to receive wireless sound signals. The output transducer is configured to stimulate hearing of the hearing aid device user. The transmitter unit is configured to transmit signals representing sound and/or voice. The dedicated beamformer-noise-reduction-system is configured to retrieve a user voice signal representing the voice of a user from the electrical sound signals. The wireless sound input is configured to be wirelessly connected to a communication device and to receive wireless sound signals from the communication device. The transmitter unit is configured to be wirelessly connected to the communication device and to transmit the user voice signal to the communication device.
