A cochlear external device with an external microphone according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include an external device body attached to a side of the head of a user, an internal microphone embedded in the external device body to collect sound, an external microphone located at the outside of the external device body to be attached around the ear of the user to collect sound, a connection cable configured to connect the external microphone and the external device body in a wired manner; and a control unit embedded in the external device body to generate an output signal based on the sound collected by at least one of the internal microphone and the external microphone and transmit the generated output signal to a cochlear implant transplanter.
HEARING AID COMPRISING AN ACTIVE OCCLUSION CANCELLATION SYSTEM
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a hearing aid configured to be worn by a user at or in an ear of the user and having an ITE-part adapted for being located at or in an ear canal of the user. The hearing aid can include an active occlusion cancellation system (AOCS) for providing an acoustic anti-occlusion signal configured to cancel or diminish a sense of occlusion of the user when the user is speaking, or otherwise is using his or her voice, or when otherwise moving the jaws. Methods of operating a hearing aid are further disclosed.
METHOD FOR CHARGING AN ELECTRICAL DEVICE WORN IN THE EAR CANAL, ELECTRICAL DEVICE, CHARGING MODULE, AND HEARING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a method for charging an electrical device worn in the ear canal, wherein the electrical device is arranged in the ear of a person and a charging module for transmitting electrical energy is connected to the electrical device arranged in the ear. The invention also relates to an electrical device with which such a method may be carried out, a charging module with which such a method may be carried out, and a hearing system with which such a method may be carried out. The electrical device may advantageously be a hearing device or also a hearable or a Smart headphone.
Acoustic output device with antenna
A hearing device is provided. The hearing device comprises a first portion configured to be arranged at a head of a user and to provide a signal to a second portion.
CHARGING CONTACT CONNECTION FOR A CHARGER, MATING CONTACT CONNECTION, CHARGING CONTACT SYSTEM AND ELECTRICAL DEVICE
A charging contact connection is provided for a charger, in particular for a hearing device. The charging contact connection contains a permanent magnetic magnet element for magnetically attracting a mating contact connection, a central contact pin for making contact with a first mating contact of the mating contact connection and a contact casing, annularly surrounding the central contact pin, that has a contact surface for making contact with a second mating contact of the mating contact connection, which contact surface is oriented obliquely and/or perpendicularly with respect to a longitudinal axis of the contact pin. The contact casing is electrically insulated from the contact pin, and the contact casing at least partially surrounds the magnet element.
ELECTRONIC MODULE FOR A HEARING INSTRUMENT TO BE WORN IN THE EAR CANAL AND HEARING INSTRUMENT TO BE WORN IN THE EAR CANAL
An electronic module for a hearing instrument to be worn in the ear canal has a rechargeable battery, a circuit carrier, and a chipset arranged on the circuit carrier and forming an audio processor, and power management electronics. The circuit carrier is strip-shaped and, in the intended assembly state, is wrapped, in sections and bent, around the rechargeable battery in such a way that the rechargeable battery is at least partially arranged between the audio processor and the power management electronics.
Hearing aid device
A hearing aid device includes: a hearing aid housing surrounding an inner space; a frame structure arranged in the inner space, the frame structure configured for mounting at least a microphone and a signal processing unit; a sound emitter sized for being arranged in an ear canal; a conductor, wherein the sound emitter is arranged on a first end of the conductor; a connector socket arranged in the frame structure, wherein the hearing aid housing comprises a passage located in front of the connector socket; a connector plug arranged on a second end of the conductor, the connector plug configured for insertion through the passage for connection to the connector socket; a recess at an outer surface of the connector plug; and a locking plug having a first part configured to extend through a housing opening at the hearing aid housing, and engage with the recess.
CONTACT HEARING DEVICE AND RETENTION STRUCTURE MATERIALS
Hearing aid devices, methods of manufacture, methods of use, and kits are provided. In certain aspects, the hearing aid devices comprise an apparatus having a transducer and a retention structure comprising a shape profile corresponding to a tissue of the user, and a layer of elastomer.
Modular hearing instrument comprising electro-acoustic calibration parameters
A hearing instrument includes: a first portion shaped and sized for placement at a pinna of a user's ear; and a second portion having an earpiece for placement in the user's ear canal; wherein the second portion also comprises a connector assembly configured for electrically coupling to the first portion, the connector assembly having a plurality of connector wires, the plurality of connector wires comprising a first connector wire; wherein the second portion also comprises a receiver or miniature loudspeaker for receipt of an audio drive signal through at least the first connector wire; and wherein the second portion also comprises a non-volatile memory circuit having a data interface configured for receipt and transmittal of module data, the non-volatile memory circuit configured to store the module data, wherein the stored module data at least comprises electroacoustic calibration parameter(s) of the receiver or the miniature loudspeaker.
HEARING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEARING DEVICE
A hearing device, such as a receiver-in-canal hearing aid, has a receiver unit with a receiver, and a control unit. The control unit is connected to the receiver unit via two activation lines to activate the receiver. In addition, a further component, such as a controllable ventilation element, is located in the receiver unit, and the further component is likewise activated via the activation lines by a control signal which is output by the control unit.
