The connector is electrically connected to a transceiver of the BTE prosthetic device. The connector operates as an electromagnetic antenna for transmitting and/or receiving signals between the BTE prosthetic and other components of the medical system.

Disclosed are various embodiments of systems, devices, components and methods for reducing feedback between a transducer and one or more microphones in a magnetic bone conduction hearing device. Such systems, devices, components and methods include acoustically sealing or welding first and second compartments of the hearing device from one another, where the first compart contains the one or more microphones, and the second compart contains the transducer.

The disclosure presents a method and a hearing device comprising a first portion adapted for being arranged behind an ear of a user for providing a signal, an output transducer for converting the signal to an acoustic output, a coupling element coupled to the first portion, and wherein the coupling element is adapted for transmitting at least the signal or the acoustic output. Furthermore, the hearing device comprises an antenna which includes an external antenna part and an internal antenna part, where the internal antenna part includes a first antenna element, a second antenna element where a first end of the second antenna element is arranged at one end of the first antenna element and is connected thereto, and where a second end of the second antenna element is connected to a ground plane, and a third antenna element which is spaced at a distance from the second antenna element and connected to the first antenna element, a feeding unit configured to supply a current to the antenna via the third antenna element, a wireless interface for receiving and/or sending data by means of the antenna, and wherein the coupling element comprises the external antenna part, and where the external antenna part is connected to the internal antenna part.
HEARING AID CONNECTOR
In embodiments of the invention, the invention comprises a light tip cable including a cartridge assembly affixed to a medial end of the cable, the cartridge assembly including an emitter housing where the emitter housing includes an opening at a medial end of the housing and a flange at a lateral end of the housing. In embodiments of the invention, the cartridge assembly includes a light emitting element in the housing extending to the opening, retention features covering at least a portion of the housing, including the flange, the retention features comprising a lateral face and a lobe and at least one load bearing strand extending from the cable to the emitter; and electrical connectors extending from the cable to the light emitting element.

A hearing device has a motherboard and a receiver module. The receiver module is configured for wireless charging of a battery and, for that purpose, has a coil wound around an axial direction. The motherboard has a top section that extends perpendicular to the axial direction and in a radial direction. An ear-worn hearing device component is disclosed and includes an electrical connector a housing and multiple connector contacts integrated with a contact carrier. A portion of the contact carrier and connector contacts protrudes from the housing and each connector contact is connected to a corresponding contact of a circuit board located in a cavity of the housing. Wires of an electrical cable mechanically coupled to the electrical connector are connected to the connector contacts via the circuit board.
