A test module for functionally testing an audio device of an aircraft passenger service unit (PSU) is configured to allocate a first operating mode to a first individual audio device of one PSU of a set of PSUs during which, a test tone is emitted. The test module allocates a second operating mode to other audio devices different than the first audio device. In the second operating mode, the test tone emitted by the first audio device is intended to be received. The other audio devices each belong to different PSUs within the set of PSUs. The test module emits the test tone via the first audio device. The test module initiates a functional test of the first audio device. The functional test is based on the test tone received by the other audio devices. The test module may be part of a system and an aircraft.

Audio circuitry, comprising: a speaker driver operable to drive a speaker based on a speaker signal; a current monitoring unit operable to monitor a speaker current flowing through the speaker and generate a monitor signal indicative of that current; and a microphone signal generator operable, when external sound is incident on the speaker, to generate a microphone signal representative of the external sound based on the monitor signal and the speaker signal.

There is provided an audio signal reproduction apparatus including: a reproduction unit that reproduces an audio signal supplied to a speaker installed to be directed to a listening position; and an adjustment unit that adjusts a delay amount of the audio signal supplied to a target speaker in accordance with an interval of a measurement sound obtained from a picked-up signal with another speaker. The picked-up signal is a measurement sound picked up by a sound pickup apparatus installed at the listening position and is a signal including the measurement sound corresponding to a measurement signal, and the measurement signal is a signal that causes a plurality of speakers installed to be directed to the listening position to output the measurement sound at a predetermined time interval. The present technology can be applied to an audio signal reproduction apparatus such as an AV amplifier device and a wireless speaker.

Acoustic transducer

The acoustic transducing element 101 prevents re-reflection of the sound wave reflected by an eardrum when the sound wave has been generated and prevents localization phenomenon and a feeling of pressure in auditory sense. Also, since the acoustic transducing element 101 is formed in a compact and lightweight shape, the acoustic transducing element 101 generates the sound wave for directly reaching the eardrum or collects the sound at a place near the eardrum without a feeling of foreign materials in a case where a person wears the acoustic transducing element 101 the an ear.

Systems and methods for suppressing noise and detecting voice input in a multi-channel audio signal captured by a plurality of microphones include (i) capturing a first audio signal via a first microphone and a second audio signal via a second microphone, wherein the first and second audio signals respectively comprises first and second noise content from a noise source; (ii) identifying the first noise content in the first audio signal; (iii) using the identified first noise content to determine an estimated noise content captured by the plurality of microphones; (iv) using the estimated noise content to suppress the first and second noise content in the first and second audio signals; (v) combining the suppressed first and second audio signals into a third audio signal; and (vi) determining that the third audio signal includes a voice input comprising a wake word.
