DUAL-RADIO GAMING HEADSET
A gaming machine having an audio channel outputting game sound and an audio channel intaking microphone sound and outputing chat sound is coupled with a headset having earpieces and a microphone and a Bluetooth transceiver in the headset for sending and receiving the microphone and chat sounds. A radio receiver or wired connection in the headset receives the game sounds. Circuitry in the headset is connected between the transceiver and receiver for mixing the microphone, chat, and game sounds and feeding them all to the earpieces.
ROOM SOUNDS MODES
Example techniques described herein involve a media playback system of one or more playback devices that are operable in a plurality of modes. Operating in a given mode may enhance a use case corresponding to the mode. For instance, the plurality of modes may include a foreground mode, which may enhance active listening to the playback device. The plurality of modes may also include a background mode, which may enhance passive listening to the playback device by facilitating other activities during passive listening. In some example implementations, the plurality of modes are non-contemporary; when operating in one mode, the playback device will not be operating in the other modes, and vice versa.
Privacy device for smart speakers
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for a privacy blocking device configured to prevent receipt, by a listening device, of video and/or audio data until a trigger occurs. A blocker may be configured to prevent receipt of video and/or audio data by one or more microphones and/or one or more cameras of a listening device. The blocker may use the one or more microphones, the one or more cameras, and/or one or more second microphones and/or one or more second cameras to monitor for a trigger. The blocker may process the data. Upon detecting the trigger, the blocker may transmit data to the listening device. For example, the blocker may transmit all or a part of a spoken phrase to the listening device.
METHOD FOR BI-PHASIC SEPARATION AND RE-INTEGRATION ON MOBILE MEDIA DEVICES
Disclosed is a method of presenting audio information to a user. The method comprising receiving samples of a waveform from a media handling component, initializing a biquad filter with a set of one or more coefficients corresponding to a set of one or more stages of the biquad filter for both a real component of the samples and an imaginary component of the samples. The biquad filter is implemented on a media processing component of the mobile media device. The method further comprises applying the biquad filter to the samples of the waveform to generate an output for presentation to the user, the output comprising a processed rendering of the real component of the samples and the imaginary component of the samples.
AUDIO SWITCHING DEVICE
An audio switching device includes a housing, a first user interface, and a controller within the housing and in electronic communication with the first user interface. The controller is configured to connect a first audio source to the audio switching device, connect a first listening device to the audio switching device, such that an output from the first audio source is received at the first listening device, receive a first input from the first user interface, disconnect the first listening device in response to receiving the first input, and connect a second audio listening device to the audio switching device, such that an output from the first audio source is received at the second listening device.
Ambient sound activated device
Environmental sound is recorded using one or more microphones. A source of the recorded environmental sound is classified. The recorded environmental sound is weighted based on the classification of the source and the source media sound using a weighting mode to determine whether to mix the recorded environmental. The recorded environmental sound is mixed with source media sound to produce a mixed sound based on the determination. The mixed sound is played over one or more speakers.
Headphone
An audio signal output system including a first audio signal path, a second audio signal path and control electronics that provide a mixed sound from sound sources to the first and second audio signal paths, and control the mixed sound in accordance with a position at which a sound image associated with at least one of the sound sources is localized relative to an orientation of a user's head. The control electronics provide one or more signals corresponding to the mixed sound to the first and second audio signal paths based on one or more transfer functions associated with one or more values corresponding to at least one of a distance from the user to the at least one sound source, an angle of the user with respect to the at least one sound source, and a size of a space in which the user is located.
Audio signal processing apparatus and audio signal processing method for controlling amount of feed to buses
An audio signal processing apparatus includes a first bus, a second bus, and a controller that assigns a first input channel to the first bus, assigns a second input channel to the second bus, receives an amount of feed from the first input channel to the first bus, and receives an amount of feed from the second input channel to the second bus.
Audio input prioritization
Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to audio input prioritization are described. Systems may include to one or more sound devices. Audio input may be played on a sound device based on one or more settings applied to the audio input. A setting can be determined based on feedback received by a host. In an example, a method for prioritizing audio input may include receiving a plurality of audio inputs each comprising signaling representative of different sounds, and each from a different application, identifying an attribute of each audio input of the plurality of audio inputs, prioritizing each audio input based on the identified attribute of each audio input, and sending each audio input to a sound device to be played based on the prioritization.
Audio signal processing chip, multichannel system, and audio signal processing method
An audio processing chip includes a detector circuit, a first-in first-out (FIFO) circuit, and an adjustment circuitry. The detector circuit is configured to detect an audio stream to output an enable signal. The FIFO circuit is configured to start outputting audio data corresponding to a channel in the audio stream to be a first signal. The adjustment circuitry is configured to process the first signal, in order to generate an output signal and transmit the output signal to a speaker.
