MAIN SPEAKER, SUB SPEAKER AND SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed are a main speaker, sub speaker and system including the same. The present invention includes a main speaker configured to receive a first audio signal from a first source device and output the received first audio signal and at least one sub speaker configured communicate with the main speaker by wire or wireless. Particularly, if the communication with the main speaker is connected, the sub speaker outputs the first audio signal. If the sub speaker is separated from the main speaker, the sub speaker outputs the second audio signal.
Vehicle and controlling method of vehicle
A vehicle and a controlling method thereof are disclosed. The vehicle includes a first seat in which a talker is seated; a second seat in which a passenger is seated; a plurality of speakers provided in the first seat and the second seat; a microphone for receiving the voice of the passenger or the voice of the talker; and a controller configured to control the speaker to output a masking sound tuned based on the voice of the talker or the voice of the passenger.
Controlling a link for different load conditions
The present disclosure relates generally to devices, systems, and methods for supporting different load conditions in a data/power link. In one example, a device includes a transformer that has a first tap with a first turns ratio and a second tap with a second turns ratio. The device further includes electronics and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to selectively couple the electronics to the first tap of the transformer for a first application and to couple the electronics to the second tap of the transformer for a second application.
REMOVAL OF SWITCHING DISCONTINUITY IN A HYBRID SWITCHED MODE AMPLIFIER
A signal processing system for producing a load voltage at a load output of the signal processing system, wherein the load output comprises a first load terminal having a first load voltage and a second load terminal having a second load voltage such that the load voltage comprises a difference between the first load voltage and the second load voltage, and may include a first processing path configured to process a first signal derived from an input signal to generate the first load voltage at a first processing path output, a second processing path configured to process a second signal received at a second processing path input and derived from the input signal, wherein the second signal comprises information of the input signal absent from the first signal, to generate the second load voltage at a second processing path output, and a high-pass filter coupled between the first processing path output and the second processing path input.
Robust Short-Time Fourier Transform Acoustic Echo Cancellation During Audio Playback
Example techniques involve noise-robust acoustic echo cancellation. An example implementation may involve causing one or more speakers of the playback device to play back audio content and while the audio content is playing back, capturing, via the one or more microphones, audio within an acoustic environment that includes the audio playback. The example implementation may involve determining measured and reference signals in the STFT domain. During each n.sup.th iteration of an acoustic echo canceller (AEC): the implementation may involve determining a frame of an output signal by generating a frame of a model signal by passing a frame of the reference signal through an instance of an adaptive filter and then redacting the n.sup.th frame of the model signal from an n.sup.th frame of the measured signal. The implementation may further involve determining an instance of the adaptive filter for a next iteration of the AEC.
ARRANGEMENT OF AUDIO DEVICES, CONFIGURATION APPARATUS, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
The invention relates to an arrangement (4) of audio devices for the purpose of a public address system, comprising an audio-signal processing apparatus (5) and a configuration apparatus (6), wherein: the audio-signal processing apparatus (5) comprises a first plurality of audio-signal inputs (10), a second plurality of signal outputs (11) and a third plurality of signal paths (9); the signal paths (9) connect audio-signal inputs (10) to signal outputs (11); the audio-signal inputs (10) are designed to pick up a provided audio signal; the configuration apparatus (6) is designed for open-loop control, closed-loop control and/or configuration of the audio-signal processing apparatus (5); the configuration apparatus (6) is designed to switch off signal paths (9), in particular unused and/or undesired signal paths.
MULTIPLE OUTPUT CONTROL BASED ON USER INPUT
A media control device is provided. The media control device includes a first output port and a second output port. The media control device receives a user input indicative of disability information of a user. Further, the media control device controls the first output port to output a first audio portion of media content. The media control device further retrieves a second audio portion which describes a first image portion of the media content based on the received user input. The first image portion is associated with the first audio portion. The media control device further controls the second output port to output the first audio portion and the second audio portion based on the received user input.
Systems and Methods for Live Conversation Using Hearing Devices
In one embodiment, a method includes, by a first electronic device: receiving, from an input sensor of the first electronic device, a predetermined input, where the predetermined input corresponds to a request to wirelessly connect the first electronic device to one or more second electronic devices within a communication range of a transceiver of the first electronic device, wirelessly connecting, using the transceiver of the first electronic device responsive to receiving the predetermined input, to the one or more second electronic devices using a communications profile associated with each of the one or more second electronic devices, where the communications profile includes one or more parameters for verifying to connect the first electronic device and the one or more second electronic devices, and redirecting a live audio communication between the first electronic device and a control device to the one or more second electronic devices.
Audio processing apparatus and method therefor
An audio processing apparatus comprises a receiver (705) which receives audio data including audio components and render configuration data including audio transducer position data for a set of audio transducers (703). A renderer (707) generating audio transducer signals for the set of audio transducers from the audio data. The renderer (7010) is capable of rendering audio components in accordance with a plurality of rendering modes. A render controller (709) selects the rendering modes for the renderer (707) from the plurality of rendering modes based on the audio transducer position data. The renderer (707) can employ different rendering modes for different subsets of the set of audio transducers the render controller (709) can independently select rendering modes for each of the different subsets of the set of audio transducers (703). The render controller (709) can select the rendering mode for a first audio transducer of the set of audio transducers (703) in response to a position of the first audio transducer relative to a predetermined position for the audio transducer. The approach may provide improved adaptation, e.g. to scenarios where most speakers are at desired positions whereas a subset deviate from the desired position(s).
BLUETOOTH ATTACHMENT TO IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS THAT MAINTAIN EXISTING FUNCTIONALITY
A device that adds wireless Bluetooth capability for audio to an existing in-flight entertainment system is disclosed. Audio and power are sent from the existing system to provide power and audio input to the Bluetooth transmitter.
