Assistant coach system
An assistant coach system and methods can include: displaying a listed athlete and a record icon on a user device; detecting a selection of the listed athlete as a selected athlete; detecting a selection of the record icon; recording audio with coach audio equipment, based on the record icon being selected; transmitting the audio from the user device to athlete audio equipment worn by the selected athlete; and storing the audio on a distributed computing system for later replay by the athlete.
RESTORING A DISABLED DISPLAY DEVICE SPEAKER
A display device has a processor and a memory connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to make a first determination that an internal display device speaker is disabled. A second determination that an external sound system is unavailable is established. A prompt is provided in response to the first determination and the second determination. The prompt includes an option to enable the internal display device speaker.
Playback Expansion
Examples described herein involve expanding playback of a media item from a first playback device to a second playback device. In one example, while a first playback device is playing a media item as part of a first zone, the first playback device identifies that a second playback device has moved to a location that is within a given physical proximity of the first playback. The first playback device determines that playback is to be expanded to the second playback device, and transmits a command to cause the second playback device to (i) join the first zone and (ii) begin to play the media item in synchrony with the first playback device.
AUDIO PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Embodiments of the present application disclose a method for audio and video processing and an electronic device. A first decoding result corresponding to main channel audio and a second decoding result corresponding to audio description are acquired according to audio data in an audio and video file; and the first decoding result as well as an audio mixed result of the first decoding result and the second decoding result are output respectively through different audio output devices, so that in a scenario where a normal user and a visually impaired user watch audio and video at the same time, the normal user and the visually impaired user can select different audio output devices for audio listening to ensure that the two do not affect each other, which satisfies the needs of the normal user and the visually impaired user to watch at the same time.
CONTROLLING AUDIO OUTPUT
This specification describes an apparatus for controlling audio output. The apparatus provides first and a second audio components for output to first and second audio transducers of a wearable device, determine a proximity between the wearable device and a third audio transducer and determining a first or second state of the first and second audio transducers, and controlling output of at least one of the first and second audio components based on the determined proximity and the state of the first and second transducers. Responsive the proximity being under a threshold and the state of the first transducer being in a first state whilst the second transducer is in a second state, the apparatus causes output of the audio component associated with the second state transducer to be transferred to the third audio transducer whilst continuing to output the audio component associated with the first state transducer to said transducer.
Content Output Device, Audio System, and Content Output Method
A content output device includes at least one processor and at least one communicator. The at least one communicator is configured to output a plurality of channels from the at least one processor to a plurality of audio devices signals. When the number of audio devices increases and at least one additional channel is available to be reproduced, the assigning task assigns the at least one additional channel to the increased number of audio devices and the outputting task outputs the at least one additional channel in accordance with the changed assignment of the plurality of channels.
Headphone interaction with media playback system
Example techniques may involve headphone interaction. An implementation may include while headphones are disconnected from a control device, the control device receiving an indication of particular audio content being played back by a first zone of the media playback system. While the particular audio content is being played back by the one or more playback devices of the media playback system, detecting that headphones have been connected to the first control device. Headphones may be connectable to the control device via either (a) an analog headphone jack or (b) a point-to-point personal area network connection. In response to detecting that the headphones are connected to the control device: the control device (i) causing the one or more playback devices of the first zone to stop playback of the particular audio content; (ii) retrieving the particular audio content and (iii) resuming playback of the particular audio content via the connected headphones.
Apparatus, method, computer program or system for use in rendering audio
An apparatus, a method and a computer program product are provided for use in rendering audio. An apparatus is configured for: receiving a first audio signal representative of a virtual sound scene, wherein the first audio signal is configured for rendering on an arrangement of loudspeakers to a user; determine a first portion of the virtual sound scene to be rendered on headphones of the user; generating a second audio signal representative of the first portion of the virtual sound scene; determining a second portion of the virtual sound scene to be rendered on the arrangement of loudspeakers; generating a third audio signal, representative of the second portion of the virtual sound scene; and wherein the second and third audio signals are generated such that, when rendered, an augmented version of the virtual sound scene is rendered to the user.
Active loudspeaker and cable assembly
A cable assembly configured to electrically connect an active loudspeaker to a source device that comprises a source of electrical power and audio signals. The cable assembly includes a primary sheath, a group of power conductors within the primary sheath and configured to carry electrical power, a group of audio signal conductors within the primary sheath and configured to carry audio signals, a cable-mount connector male plug comprising a first plurality of power pins that terminate a first end of each power conductor and a second plurality of audio signal pins that terminate a first end of each audio signal conductor, wherein the cable-mount connector plug is configured to be coupled to a panel mount connector female socket of the source device, and a cable-mount connector female socket comprising a first plurality of power receptacles that terminate a second end of each power conductor and a second plurality of audio signal receptacles that terminate a second end of each audio signal conductor, wherein the cable-mount connector socket is configured to be coupled to a panel mount connector male plug of the active loudspeaker.
Board-level noise reduction during headphone load current sensing
An audio codec system includes an audio driver path coupled to a first node of the audio codec system. A first terminal of a sense resistor external to the audio codec system is coupled to the first node and a second terminal of the sense resistor is coupled to an auxiliary device load. The audio codec system includes a second path having a first bias circuit, a second bias circuit and an off-chip voltage reference. The first bias circuit is coupled to a second node of the audio codec system. The second bias circuit is coupled to a third node of the audio codec system. The off-chip voltage reference is associated with the auxiliary device load coupled between the first bias circuit and the second bias circuit.
