METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AUDIO SIGNAL PROCESSING SELECTION
A method and an apparatus for audio signal processing selection are provided. In the method, multiple audio signal processing operations are performed on a synthesized audio signal to generate multiple processed audio signals, the audio signal processing operations are evaluated according to the comparison results between the processed audio signals and the primary signal, and the audio signal processing operation corresponding to a designated application and the designated audio output mode is selected according to the evaluation result of the audio signal processing operations. The synthesized audio signal is generated by adding a secondary signal into a primary signal. The signal processing is related to remove the secondary signal from the synthesized audio signal. Those processed audio signals are used by the designated application at the designated audio output mode. The comparison result is related to signal similarity. The evaluation result is related to the highest signal similarity.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING HINGE STRUCTURE
An electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing including a cover, a hinge engaging portion, and a hinge protrusion, and a hinge structure configured to rotate the second housing relative to the first housing, the hinge structure including a first base facing the hinge engaging portion and a second base connected to the first base, and the second base includes a first contact surface contacting the hinge protrusion as the second housing transitions between the closing position and the intermediate position, and a second contact surface contacting the hinge protrusion while the second housing transitions between the intermediate position and the opening position.
Bluetooth speaker configured to produce sound as well as simultaneously act as both sink and source
A portable speaker, such as a subwoofer, that is configured to pair via Bluetooth from any device capable of streaming Bluetooth audio and act as the “sink.” The portable speaker is also configured to pair via Bluetooth to other audio equipment capable of streaming Bluetooth audio and act as the “source.” The portable speaker is also preferably configured to synchronize the audio signal going to the portable speaker and the other unit playing music, such that the user will not hear delays between the two units playing the audio stream. Preferably, the portable speaker is configured to be portable in which the size and weight is small enough for a person to carry, and is portable in which it operates with rechargeable batteries inside the unit, thus not needing any other power source such as AC outlet, or automobile power system. Another embodiment omits the speaker and instead provides a line out for connection to an external speaker, such as a subwoofer.
COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM, CHARGING CASE AND WIRELESS EARPHONE
Disclosed are a communication control method, apparatus and system, and a charging case and a wireless earphone. The method includes: acquiring, when a charging case is connected with a first wireless earphone though a first power supply pin and a second power supply pin, first to-be-transmitted data if the charging case is to communicate with the first wireless earphone; and controlling a first single-pole double-throw switch to connect the first power supply pin with a first TxRx and level conversion circuit, sequentially transmitting a predetermined start code and the first to-be-transmitted data to the first wireless earphone through the first power supply pin, where the first wireless earphone controls a first predetermined charging pin to be connected with a second TxRx and level conversion circuit based on the predetermined start code, and receives the first to-be-transmitted data.
AUDIO OUTPUT METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An audio output method, an electronic device and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes: detecting a current connection state of the electronic device with peripheral audio output devices; acquiring, in response to the electronic device is detected as being connected to at least two peripheral audio output devices, an output audio type configured for each of the at least two peripheral audio output devices; acquiring an audio type of an audio; determining, based on the audio type of the audio and the output audio type configured for each of the at least two peripheral audio output devices, a target peripheral audio output device from the at least two peripheral audio output devices; and outputting the audio through the target peripheral audio output device. Flexibility of audio output is improved.
POWER SUPPLY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEARCHING AUDIO OUTPUT DEVICE USING POWER SUPPLY DEVICE
An electronic device includes: a wireless communication circuit; a power management circuit; and a control circuit , and the control circuit may: in a state where the electronic device connects a first communication with a first audio output device by using the wireless communication circuit, or is electrically connected with the first audio output device by using the power management circuit, operate in a connection standby mode or in an advertise mode by using a first wireless communication address of the first audio output device; receive a signal for finding the first audio output device from an external electronic device, based on the first wireless communication address; and transmit a signal for letting the first audio output device output a notification to the first audio output device through the first communication, or transmit the signal to the first audio output device through the electrical connection.
Multimodal Audio Broadcast Assembly
A multimodal audio broadcast assembly for selectively enabling individual and group listening includes a pair of earbuds and a docking station. Each earbud is selectively engageable a respective ear of a user so that the earbud is removably engaged to the respective ear. The earbuds can receive wirelessly an audio signal from an electronic device and can broadcast the audio signal into the ears of the user. The docking station operationally engages the pair of earbuds so that the docking station is positioned to charge the pair of earbuds. The docking station also can receive the audio signal from the electronic device. A dock speaker is engaged to the docking station and is positioned to selectively broadcast the audio signal.
Controlling audio output
This specification describes an apparatus for controlling audio output. The apparatus provides first and a second audio components for output to first and second audio transducers of a wearable device, determine a proximity between the wearable device and a third audio transducer and determining a first or second state of the first and second audio transducers, and controlling output of at least one of the first and second audio components based on the determined proximity and the state of the first and second transducers. Responsive the proximity being under a threshold and the state of the first transducer being in a first state whilst the second transducer is in a second state, the apparatus causes output of the audio component associated with the second state transducer to be transferred to the third audio transducer whilst continuing to output the audio component associated with the first state transducer to said transducer.
Playback expansion
Examples described herein involve expanding playback of a media item from a first playback device to a second playback device. In one example, while a first playback device is playing a media item as part of a first zone, the first playback device identifies that a second playback device has moved to a location that is within a given physical proximity of the first playback. The first playback device determines that playback is to be expanded to the second playback device, and transmits a command to cause the second playback device to (i) join the first zone and (ii) begin to play the media item in synchrony with the first playback device.
TECHNOLOGIES FOR WIRELESS AUDIO DEVICE SELECTION
Techniques for wireless audio device selection are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a compute device uses visual training to recognize headphones worn by a user. When the user puts on the headphones, the compute device may recognize the headphones and automatically route audio output to the headphones. In some embodiments, when selecting from several possible wireless audio output devices, the compute device may determine a distance to each of the wireless audio output devices and select one of the wireless audio output devices based on the distance to the wireless audio output device.
