In some examples, an apparatus comprises: a housing; an internal speaker housed within the housing; an internal microphone housed within the housing; an interface; and a controller configured to: receive, using the internal microphone, ingress audio signals; output, using the internal speaker, first egress audio signals at a first power level when the internal microphone receives the ingress audio signals; detect that an external speaker is connected to the interface; based on detecting that the external speaker is connected to the interface, disable the internal microphone; and output, using the external speaker, second egress audio signals when the internal microphone receives the ingress audio signals, the second egress audio signals being output at a second power level higher than the first power level.
Audio signal processing method and apparatus
The present invention relates to the technical field of mobile terminals. Disclosed are an audio signal processing method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: when detecting that 3.5 mm earphones are connected by means of a type-C plug of a transfer cable, a mobile terminal determines whether states of audio channels of an audio ground GND and a microphone MIC of the type-C plug are correct. When determining that the states of the audio channels of the GND and the MIC of the type-C plug are correct, the mobile terminal decides whether to enter an audio mode. If the mobile terminal decides to enter the audio mode, a low-resistance network for reducing channel impedance is controlled to connect in parallel to the GND.
DISABLING SPATIAL AUDIO PROCESSING
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a system is described. The system includes a processor to perform spatial audio processing on a received audio signal and an audio interface to connect an audio output device to a computing device. The system also includes a controller. The controller determines a spatial audio processing capability of the audio output device and disables spatial audio processing on one of the audio output device and the processor based on a determination of the spatial audio processing capability of the audio output device.
Multi-channel cinema amplifier with power-sharing, messaging and multi-phase power supply
An integrated cinema amplifier comprises a power supply stage that distributes power over a plurality of channels for rendering immersive audio content in a surround sound listening environment. The amplifier automatically detects maximum and net power availability and requirements based on audio content by decoding audio metadata and dynamically adjusts gains to each channel or sets of channels based on content and operational/environmental conditions. A power supply stage provides power to drive a plurality of channels corresponding to speaker feeds to a plurality of speakers. The amplifier has a front panel having an LED array with each LED associated with a respective channel or group of channels of the multi-channel amplifier, and a control unit configured to light the LEDs according to display patterns based on operating status or error conditions of the amplifier.
Audio control device and method of controlling multi-channel sound system
An audio control device and a method of controlling a multi-channel sound system are provided. The audio control device is configured to control the audio output of a multimedia device which includes a first and a second sound receiving devices. The audio control device includes an audio output port and a control circuit which performs the following steps: (A) controlling a test signal to be outputted from the audio output port at a first time point; (B) receiving a first input signal generated by the first sound receiving device, and recording a second time point; (C) receiving a second input signal generated by the second sound receiving device, and recording a third time point; and (D) calculating a speaker position according to the first time point, the second time point, the third time point, and a distance between the first sound receiving device and the second sound receiving device.

The method includes: detecting a current connection state of the electronic device with peripheral audio output devices; acquiring, in response to the electronic device is detected as being connected to at least two peripheral audio output devices, an output audio type configured for each of the at least two peripheral audio output devices; acquiring an audio type of an audio; determining, based on the audio type of the audio and the output audio type configured for each of the at least two peripheral audio output devices, a target peripheral audio output device from the at least two peripheral audio output devices; and outputting the audio through the target peripheral audio output device. Flexibility of audio output is improved.
DYNAMIC RENDERING DEVICE METADATA-INFORMED AUDIO ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM
A device renders enhanced audio based on properties of an audio rendering system. For example, audio rendering system information of an audio rendering system associated with the device is used to determine an audio enhancement optimized for the audio rendering system. The OS of the device (e.g., a mobile phone) is queried to determine the audio rendering system information. The audio rendering system information is used to determine an audio enhancement, such as by querying a database storing associations between rendering system information and audio enhancements. The audio enhancement may include, for example, one or more types of audio processing (e.g., subband spatial processing, crosstalk processing, etc.) and particular parameters for the audio processing. The audio enhancement is applied to an audio signal to generate an enhanced audio signal that is provided to the audio rendering system.
