System and method for portable electronic device case assembly
A system and method for a portable electronic device case assembly is described that allows a user to use multiple types of chargers to charge their mobile electronic device using the portable electronic device case assembly. Further, the case assembly also provides an integrated auxiliary splitter that permits a user to plug in headphones or other auxiliary cables into the top and bottom of the personal computing device.
OVER-EAR HEADPHONES HAVING SPEAKER UNITS EQUIPPED WITH SURROUND SOUND MEMBERS
Over-ear headphones having speaker units peripherally provided with sound transmitter means to create surround sound effects in an ear unit provided within over-ear headphones. As when the speaker units provided with the surround sound transmitter means are used in the ear unit, a surround sound is created inside of the over-ear headphones, and hence a higher-performance sound is achieved in the over-ear headphones.
CONNECTOR TIP WITH BRISTLES FOR HEARING INSTRUMENTS
Examples of this disclosure relate to an accessory device for a hearing instrument. The accessory device comprises a connector tip that comprises a first wire segment and a second wire segment. The first and second wire segments are electrically conductive and electrically insulated from each other. The connector tip also comprises a first set of bristles and a second set of bristles. The first and second sets of bristles are electrically conductive. The first set of bristles is electrically connected to the first wire segment and electrically insulated from the second wire segment. The second set of bristles is electrically connected to the second wire segment and electrically insulated from the first wire segment. The first set of bristles is spaced sufficiently far from the second set of bristles as to prevent a short circuit between the first and second sets of bristles.
EYEWEAR ACCOMMODATING HEADSET
A headset may comprise at least one ear cup and an ear cup shaper configurable into at least two configurations. When the ear cup shaper is configured in a first of the configurations, the ear cup is shaped to contact the temple of a wearer of the headset. When the adjustable ear cup shaper is configured in a second of the configurations, the ear cup is shaped to accommodate the temple piece of a pair of eyeglasses of a wearer of the headset. The ear cup may comprise a filler material such as foam, and the adjustable ear cup shaper when configured in the second of the configurations may create a depression in the foam. The adjustable ear cup shaper may comprise a strap and/or a plunger.
Eyewear Accommodating Headset With Audio Compensation
A headset comprises an ear cup, at least one speaker, an adjustable ear cup shaper, and circuitry. The ear cup shaper is adjustable into at least two configurations, wherein a first of the configurations creates no depression or a first amount of depression in the ear cup and a second of the configurations creates a second amount of depression in the ear cup, where the second amount is greater than the first amount. The circuitry is operable to determine which one of the configurations the ear cup shaper is configured into, and set an audio setting applied to an audio signal output to the speaker based on the determined one of the configurations.
In-ear wireless device
An in-ear listening device having a device housing including a speaker housing and an elongated tube protruding away from the speaker housing, an audio port formed through the speaker housing, a speaker disposed in the speaker housing and aligned to emit sound through the audio port, a microphone port formed through the elongated tube, a microphone disposed in the elongated tube and operatively coupled to receive sound through the microphone port, a rechargeable battery and a wireless antenna disposed within the device housing, wireless circuitry coupled to the wireless antenna and configured to input and output radio frequency signals for wireless communications, a user-interface touch control disposed on the device housing and operable to control a function of the earbud, and battery charging circuitry coupled to the rechargeable battery and positioned within the device housing and operable to charge the rechargeable battery when coupled to receive power from an external power source.
Earpiece with GPS receiver
An earpiece includes an earpiece housing, a processor disposed within the earpiece, a speaker operatively connected to the processor, a microphone operatively connected the processor, and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver disposed within the earpiece. A system may include a first earpiece having a connector with earpiece charging contacts, a charging case for the first earpiece, the charging case having contacts for connecting with the earpiece charging contacts, and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receiver disposed within the charging case.
Mobile music store assembly
A mobile music store assembly includes a housing base; a first housing member that is selectively movable relative to the housing base between a first position wherein the mobile music store assembly is in a closed configuration, and a second position wherein the mobile music store assembly is in an open configuration; and a second housing member that is selectively movable relative to the first housing member and the housing base between a first position wherein the mobile music store assembly is in the closed configuration, and a second position wherein the mobile music store assembly is in the open configuration. The mobile music store assembly can further include a music player that is positioned substantially within the housing assembly. The music player is only accessible when the mobile music store assembly is in the open configuration.
Audio enhancement in response to compression feedback
In some embodiments, a method for performing enhancement on an audio signal to generate an enhanced audio signal in response to feedback indicative of amount of compression applied to at least one frequency band of the enhanced audio signal. In typical embodiments, the enhancement is or includes bass enhancement. Examples of other types of enhancement performed in other embodiments include dialog enhancement, upmixing, frequency shifting, harmonic injection or transposition, subharmonic injection, virtualization, and equalization. Other aspects are systems (e.g., programmed processors) and devices (e.g., devices having physically-limited bass reproduction capabilities, such as, for example, a notebook, tablet, mobile phone, or other device with small speakers) configured to perform any embodiment of the method.
AUDIO SYSTEM
An audio system includes an audio/video receiver, a power supply/wireless audio distribution assembly connected to the audio/video receiver, speaker wire, and speakers compatible with the power supply/wireless audio distribution assembly.
