A headset comprises an ear cup, at least one speaker, an adjustable ear cup shaper, and circuitry. The ear cup shaper is adjustable into at least two configurations, wherein a first of the configurations creates no depression or a first amount of depression in the ear cup and a second of the configurations creates a second amount of depression in the ear cup, where the second amount is greater than the first amount. The circuitry is operable to determine which one of the configurations the ear cup shaper is configured into, and set an audio setting applied to an audio signal output to the speaker based on the determined one of the configurations.

Portable speaker system

A portable audio input/output device may include one or more openings that extend through a cover of the device and allow acoustic signals outside a housing of the device to reach a microphone disposed within the housing. The opening(s) may be illuminated by a light guide disposed within the housing, which scatters light emitted from lights disposed within the housing. In some instances, a hole may pass through a printed circuit board to allow acoustic signals to be received by the microphone disposed below the printed circuit board. An input/output (I/O) interface module with multiple buttons and inputs may be installed in the hole. The multiple buttons and I/O ports of the I/O interface module may be aligned along an axis vertical relative to the housing and centered with respect to each other.

Modular removable speaker system

Methods and systems are provided for a portable speaker arranged in a vehicle. In one example, a system comprises a speaker configured to dock mechanically to a docking station in an area of a vehicle, wherein the speaker further comprises a removable battery.

Ingress resistant portable speaker

Various implementations include portable loudspeakers. Certain implementations include a portable loudspeaker that mitigates ingress of moisture, particulates, and other contaminates. In particular implementations, the portable loudspeaker includes a housing with an enclosure having a co-molded construction for ingress resistance.

MOBILE DEVICE CHARGER WITH AUDIO INTERFACE

A device for converting the digital audio signal of a digital device in to an analog audio signal in a vehicle includes a digital audio input jack, a digital to analog converter, a preamplifier, and an analog audio jack. The digital audio port is configured to provide power to a digital audio device connected thereto, and the digital audio signal from the digital audio device is passed to a digital to analog convertor, and then to an analog audio jack. A cable connected to the analog audio jack carries the signal to an input of a vehicle stereo system.

System and method for a redundant real-time wireless receiver network
09838809 · 2017-12-05 · ·

Embodiments relate to a system and a method for a redundant real-time wireless receiver network. A Remote Digital Antenna Digital Receiver (“RDADR”) is coupled to multiple Remote Digital Antenna (“RDAs”). The RDADR and the multiple RDAs are coupled via a digital bus. The multiple RDAs attempt to receive one or more digital signals from a transmitter. If the one or more digital signals are received without an error by one of the multiple RDAs, the RDA that received the one or more error-free digital signals sends the digital signals to the RDADR using the digital bus. The redundant real-time wireless receiver network provides a reliable and fault tolerant system to deliver digital audio signals in real-time.

EARPHONE PLUG AND EARPHONE FUNCTIONNING AS TOUCH CONTROL DEVICE
20170344138 · 2017-11-30 ·

An earphone plug able to be utilized as a touch stylus comprises a column base, a conductive portion, a conductive tip, and a conductive core. A grip ring connects to the column base. The conductive core and conductive wires are received in the earphone plug. The conductive core connects to the conductive tip. The wires connect with the conductive core and the grip ring. When a user holds the conductive tip and makes the earphone plug contact a capacitive touch panel, a current from user's body in the position where the earphone plug makes contact changes the capacitive touch panel to record a touch.

AUDIO HUB APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
20170346581 · 2017-11-30 ·

An audio hub is disclosed including a plurality of daughterboards and a mainboard communicatively coupled to each of the plurality of daughterboards. Each of the plurality of daughterboards is associated with an audio channel and each audio channel is independent from the other of the audio channels associated with the other ones of the plurality of daughter boards. Further, each daughterboard includes at least one wireless transceiver operably configured to wirelessly transmit an audio signal associated with the corresponding audio channel from a musical instrument over a network to the audio playback device. The mainboard is configured so that, for each of the plurality of daughterboards, the mainboard is operable to independently modify at least one characteristic of the audio signal from the musical instrument before the audio signal is transmitted to the audio playback device.

PORTABLE SPEAKER SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC STRING INSTRUMENTS
20170347173 · 2017-11-30 ·

A portable speaker system for an electric string instrument such as a guitar. The portable speaker system has a housing including an audio jack for receiving a raw audio signal from a guitar, an amplifier, a speaker, and a power supply. The portable speaker system attaches to the guitar by a button connector which releasably attaches to a strap button of the guitar, and a stabilizer for inhibiting rotation of the portable speaker system when attached to the guitar. The portable speaker system portably generates output sound from the raw audio signal. The portable speaker system can couple with a portable computing device, which can process the raw audio signal and provide a supplementary audio signal, from which the portable speaker system can portably generate output sound.
