ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH SPEAKER MODULE
An electronic device includes a first body, a second body, and a speaker module. The first body includes a first housing and a second housing disposed on the first housing. The second body is pivotally connected to the first body. The speaker module is movably disposed in the first body. The first body has a first surface and a second surface, and the first surface and the second surface are respectively located at two opposite sides of the speaker module. When the speaker module is abutted against the first surface, the speaker module resonates with the first housing to emit a first sound. When the speaker module is abutted against the second surface, the speaker module resonates with the second housing to emit a second sound.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes: a display panel configured to display an image, the display panel including first, second, and third areas, a sound-generating device in at least one among the first, second, and third areas on a rear surface of the display panel, and at least one partition for dividing the first, second, and third areas from each other, the at least one partition including a first side and a second side at an angle to the first side, the second side including at least one member perpendicular to the second side, wherein: the first area is a left area of the display panel, the second area is a right area of the display panel, the third area is a central area of the display panel, and the member is in the third area.
Panel vibration type sound generating actuator and double-faced display device including same
The present embodiment relates to a double-faced display device generating sound by directly vibrating a display panel and includes: a first display panel and a second display panel disposed at the front and rear surface thereof, respectively; a single sound generating actuator connected to the first display panel and the second display panel to simultaneously vibrate the first display panel and the second display panel and thus generate sound; and a support part configured to support the sound generating actuator, the first display panel, and the second display panel. The present embodiment does not require a separate speaker and thus can achieve a thin or slim display device, and can improve the localization or the quality of sound output in opposite directions in the double-faced display device.
FLAT SPEAKER AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A flat speaker includes a diaphragm having a flat plate shape, a drive unit that is attached to a back surface of the diaphragm and vibrates the diaphragm, a fixing member that fixes an outer circumference of the diaphragm in a circumferential direction, a first support member that is disposed on an inner side in a radial direction of the fixing member, supports the back surface of the diaphragm in the circumferential direction, and has a value of hardness smaller than a value of hardness of the fixing member and/or a value of internal loss larger than a value of internal loss of the fixing member, and a second support member that is disposed on an inner side in the radial direction of the first support member, supports the back surface of the diaphragm in the circumferential direction, and has a value of hardness smaller than the value of hardness of the first support member and/or a value of internal loss larger than the value of internal loss of the first support member.
MULTI-RESONANT COUPLED SYSTEM FOR FLAT PANEL ACTUATION
A system includes a flat panel display having a panel resonant frequency response corresponding to a composition, shape, and structure of the flat panel display; and an actuator having an actuator resonant frequency response corresponding to a composition, size, and shape of the actuator; in which the actuator is mechanically-coupled to the flat panel display at a mechanical drive point, in which a coupled resonant frequency response of the system is lower than the panel resonant frequency response of the flat panel display.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus includes a display panel configured to display an image by emitting light, the display panel including a first area, a second area, and a third area; a first sound generating device in the first area, the first sound generating device including two sub-sound generating devices; a second sound generating device in the second area, the second sound generating device including two sub-sound generating devices; a third sound generating device in the third area; a first partition between the first area and the third area; a second partition between the second area and the third area; a third partition in a periphery of the display panel; and a fourth partition between the two sub-sound generating devices in each of the first area and the second area.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUDIO SCENE GENERATION BY EFFECTING SPATIAL AND TEMPORAL CONTROL OF THE VIBRATIONS OF A PANEL
A loudspeaker system composed of a flexible panel with an affixed array of force actuators, a signal processing system, and interface electronic circuits is described. The system described is capable of creating a pattern of standing bending waves at any location on the panel and the instantaneous amplitude, velocity, or acceleration of the standing waves can be controlled by an audio signal to create localized acoustic sources at the selected locations in the plane of the panel.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus includes: a display panel configured to display an image, a sound generation device configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound, a supporting member on a rear surface of the display panel, and a partition surrounding the sound generation device, the partition including an edge having a partition edge contour shape that differs from a panel edge contour shape of the display panel.
