The first hearing device includes a first physiological sensor configured to provide sensor data indicative of a physiological property of the user and the second hearing device includes a second physiological sensor configured to provide sensor data indicative of the same physiological property as the sensor data provided by the first physiological sensor. A processing unit may be configured to control the first and second physiological sensor to alternatingly provide the sensor data in subsequent time intervals.

BINAURAL HEARING SYSTEM HAVING TWO HEARING INSTRUMENTS TO BE WORN IN OR ON THE EAR OF THE USER, AND METHOD OF OPERATING SUCH A HEARING SYSTEM
20230164498 · 2023-05-25 ·

A binaural hearing system for assisting a hearing of a user includes two hearing instruments each to be worn in or on an ear of the user. An audio signal is modified in each of the two hearing instruments by way of a programmable signal processor of the respective hearing instrument by executing a plurality of software modules of firmware of the hearing system and is output by an output transducer of the respective hearing instrument. The executed software modules of the firmware are distributed asymmetrically on the two hearing instruments, so that at least one of the software modules of the firmware is selectively executed in one of the two hearing instruments.

DYNAMIC RESOURCE ALLOCATION

A wearable device, comprising: one or more processors configured to: detect a wear status of the wearable device; and in response to the wear status, allocate resources of the wearable device to one or more functions of the wearable device.

Disclosed is a wireless earphone linking method that includes the following: detecting a motion state of a wireless earphone; when the wireless earphone is moved, determining whether a working mode of the wireless earphone is a wearing mode; if so, determining whether the wireless earphone and a terminal are in a linked state; and if the wireless earphone and the terminal are not in a linked state, controlling the wireless earphone to send a linking request to the terminal.

HEARING AID DEVICE COMPRISING A SENSOR MEMBER

A hearing aid device is disclosed. The hearing aid device comprises means to improve, augment and/or protect the hearing capability of a user by receiving acoustic signals from the surroundings of the user, generating corresponding audio signals, possibly modifying the audio signals and providing the possibly modified audio signals as audible signals to at least one of the user's ears. The hearing aid device comprises a sensor member for detecting the movement and/or acceleration and/or orientation (or spatial position) of the hearing aid device. The hearing aid device comprises at least two hearing aid microphones and a control unit for determining the position or a deviation from an intended position of the hearing aid device or hearing aid microphones. The hearing aid device is configured to compensate for a possible dislocation of the hearing aid microphones.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SENSING TOUCH INPUT AND METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed is an electronic device including: at least one sensor including a proximity sensor, a touch sensor, and a processor operatively connected with the at least one sensor and the touch sensor. The processor is configured to: detect a distance between an external object and the electronic device using the proximity sensor, disable the touch sensor or ignore a signal from the touch sensor based on the distance between the external object and the electronic device being less than a certain distance, determine whether the electronic device meets a specified condition based on a sensing value obtained from the at least one sensor, and enable the touch sensor or recognize the signal from the touch sensor based on the electronic device meeting the specified condition.

Method and Device for Detecting Wearing State of Earphone, and Earphone
20230147079 · 2023-05-11 ·

A method and device for determining a wearing state of an earphone, and a corresponding earphone, are provided. The method includes determining that the earphone has experienced a first event on the basis of first acceleration data from the earphone. In response to the first event, determining whether the earphone has experienced a second event on the basis of first angular velocity data from the earphone, The method further includes determining the wearing state of the earphone on the basis of a determination result for the two events. In this way, it is possible to accurately determine the wearing state of the earphone while reducing power consumption.
