Systems, devices and methods for multi-dimensional audio recording and playback
Systems and methods for recording and playback of multi-dimensional sound are described herein. The systems and methods may include positioning a plurality of multi-dimensional sound recording devices in a location and positioning a plurality of multi-dimensional sound recording sensors within the location. Then, acoustical footprint data can be generated. Next, recording positional data within the location utilizing the plurality of multi-dimensional sound recording devices may occur. The systems and methods may continue to generate spatial data utilizing the recorded positional data and store the generated acoustical footprint data and spatial data. An audio mix-down utilizing the stored acoustical footprint and spatial data is generated. Finally, a consumer-device audio track mix based on the audio mix-down can be generated. Further embodiments may also replace audio tracks to mimic the original recording conditions in other languages and environment. Playback may occur on a device that generates a profile of the playback area.
Efficient wellness measurement in ear-wearable devices
A wellness evaluation system may determine, based on data generated by a first set of sensors powered by one or more batteries of one or more ear-wearable devices, that a user of the one or more ear-wearable devices is currently in an environment that includes human-directed communication signals. If so, a second set of sensors may be activated such that the one or more batteries provides an increased amount of power to the second set of sensors. Furthermore, the wellness evaluation system may determine based on data generated by the second set of sensors, whether the user has satisfied a target level of a wellness measure. If the user has not satisfied the target level of the wellness measure, the wellness evaluation system may perform an action to encourage the user to perform one or more activities to increase an achieved level of the wellness measure.

An information processing apparatus of an aspect of the present technology controls, according to a state of a user, the state being decided on the basis of multiple types of detection results relating to a situation of the user, and an importance level set to each of notifications to the user, outputting of the notifications by sound. The present technology can be applied to an apparatus in which a notification by sound is outputted from a headphone worn by a user.
USER IDENTIFICATION USING HEADPHONES
Systems and processes for user identification using headphones associated with a first device are provided. For example, first movement information corresponding to movement of a second electronic device is detected. Second movement information corresponding to movement of a third electronic device is detected. A similarity score is determined based on the first movement information and the second movement information. In accordance with a determination that the similarity score is above a threshold similarity score, a user is identified as an authorized user of the first electronic device and the second electronic device. Based on the identification, an output is provided to the second electronic device.
Vehicle with external audio speaker and microphone
Various systems and methods for implementing a vehicle with an external speaker and microphone are described herein. A system includes an audio processor to receive audio data, the audio data sensed by a microphone array installed on the vehicle, the audio data generated by a source outside of the vehicle; an audio classification circuit to analyze the audio data using a machine learning technique to determine a sound event; and a vehicle interface to transmit a message to a vehicle control system, the message based on the sound event.
SMART HEARING ASSISTANCE IN MONITORED PROPERTY
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for emphasizing a portion of audio data. In some implementations, a method may include determining that a first person is wearing a hearing aid, determining, from images captured by a camera, that a second person is speaking to the first person, determining an audio stream for an environment in which the first person is located, determining whether more than one sound stream is encoded in the audio stream, based on determining that more than one sound stream is encoded in audio data, identifying a portion of captured sounds that corresponds to the second person speaking to the first person, and providing, to the hearing aid, audio data that increases a volume of the portion of captured sounds relative to other portions of the captured sounds.
AUDIO SYSTEM USING INDIVIDUALIZED SOUND PROFILES
A system for presenting audio content to a user. The system comprises one or more microphones coupled to a frame of a headset. The one or more microphones capture sound from a local area. The system further comprises an audio controller integrated into the headset and communicatively coupled to an in-ear device worn by a user. The audio controller identifies one or more sound sources in the local area based on the captured sound. The audio controller further determines a target sound source of the one or more sound sources and determines one or more filters to apply to a sound signal associated with the target sound source in the captured sound. The audio controller further generates an augmented sound signal by applying the one or more filters to the sound signal and provides the augmented sound signal to the in-ear device for presentation to a user.
Method, apparatus and computer program product for generating audio signals according to visual content
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for generating audio signals according to visual content. Bokeh refers to a blurring of areas in a photograph or video that are in front of or behind a visual focal plane. Microphones in different positions in the environment of the captured visual content may be mixed according to their positions relative to a visual focal plane of the visual content to generate audio signals. Audio signals may be generated further dependent on a visual effect applied to captured content.
SOUND NORMALIZATION AND FREQUENCY REMAPPING USING HAPTIC FEEDBACK
Method and devices for processing audio signals based on sound profiles are provided. A sound profile can include data related to haptic movement of the audio data which is specific to a left ear or a right ear, demographic information, ethnicity information, age information, location information, social media information, intensity score of the audio data, previous usage information, or device information. A sound profile can be customized for individual user to include the inaudible frequency range at high frequency end and low frequency end. Audio data within the inaudible frequency range can be compensated by haptic movement corresponding to the inaudible frequency range. A sound profile can further include an audio frequency range and its lowest audible volume for a user. A sound profile can be provided to a user without any action from the user's part.
