Speaker unit for earphone
Disclosed is a speaker unit for an earphone. The speaker unit includes a frame, a magnet, a plate fixed to the frame and coming into contact with the magnet, a diaphragm, a coil disposed to be radially overlapped with the magnet and the plate, and a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB). Here, the FPCB includes a first area fixed to the diaphragm, a second area connected to the frame, and a plurality of third areas configured to connect the first area to the second area. The third area includes a contact point connected to the coil. The third areas each include at least one bent area, and a space is disposed between the third areas adjacent to each other.
Ear-canal earpiece
An ear-canal earpiece having an electroacoustic sound transducer, a sound guide unit having a first and a second end for guiding the sound from the electroacoustic sound transducer to an ear of a user and at least one portion. The ear canal earpiece has a canal having a first end open towards the ear canal and a second outwardly open end. A diaphragm is provided in the canal and extends over the entire cross-section of the canal.
Trenched sealing retainer for canal hearing device
Examples of retaining seal assemblies for acoustically sealing and retaining a canal hearing device or an earpiece within the ear canal are disclosed. The retaining seal assembly may include one or more flanges and a clip element. The flanges may include elongate trenches along an exterior surface of one or more of the flanges. The elongate trenches may allow the flange to conform to the shape of the ear canal and distribute concentric compressive forces when the seal assembly is inserted in the ear canal. The clip element may be formed of a relatively rigid material and may include one or more locking tabs. The conforming flanges may be concentrically positioned over the clip element. The seal assembly may include a debris barrier to provide protection for a sound outlet of the canal hearing device or the earpiece.
SOUND OUTPUT DEVICE AND SOUND GUIDING DEVICE
Provided is a sound output device worn on an ear of a listener and used, and having listening characteristics of an ambient sound in a wearing state. A sound output device 100 includes a sound generating portion 110 that generates a sound, a sound guiding portion 120 that takes in the sound generated in the sound generating portion 110 from one end 121, and a holding portion 130 that holds the sound guiding portion 120 in the vicinity of the other end 122. The holding portion 130 is engaged with an intertragic notch, and supports the sound guiding portion 120 such that a sound output hole of the other end 122 of the sound guiding portion 120 to face a depth side of an ear canal. Even in a state where the listener wears the sound output device 100, the sound output device 100 does not block an ear cavity of the listener, and the listener can listen to the ambient sound.
Hearing aid with occlusion reduction
A hearing aid having hearing loss-compensating components, active occlusion reduction components, a vent, a tuned piston, and a flexible surround. The piston and the surround combination are assembled on the faceplate and cover the outside end of the vent that is situated on the faceplate. The piston and the surround combination minimize the adverse effects of walk-induced head vibrations.
EARPIECE PORTING
An earpiece includes an electro-acoustic transducer and a housing. The housing supports the electro-acoustic transducer such that the housing and the electro-acoustic transducer together define a first acoustic volume and a second acoustic volume. The electro-acoustic transducer is arranged such that a first radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the front acoustic volume and such that a second radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the second acoustic volume. A front port couples the first acoustic volume to a space outside the housing, and a rear port couples the second acoustic volume to the space outside the housing. Respective outlet ends of the front port and the rear port combine before exiting the housing via a combined exit volume and an exit port.
Audio Device With Acoustic Valve
In accordance with one aspect, an in-the-ear component of an audio device is provided that includes a receiver operable to produce sound, an ear canal-engaging portion, and an outer portion. The in-the-ear component further includes a passage extending through the ear canal-engaging portion and the outer portion and an acoustic valve operable to open and close the passage.
Earmold with closing element for vent
An earmold having an earmold shell, the earmold shell having a first end facing a tympanic membrane when the earmold is worn by a user, and a second end facing toward a surrounding of the user when the earmold is worn by the user, includes: a receiver configured to provide an audio output signal; a receiver channel coupled to an output of the receiver and extending to a receiver opening in the first end; and a vent channel coupled to the receiver channel through a first vent port, the vent channel having a vent opening in the second end; wherein the receiver channel comprises a closing element, the closing element comprising a first magnetic member, wherein the closing element is configured to cause the first vent port to be open when in a first state, and to cause the first vent port to be closed when in a second state.
AMBIENT SONIC LOW-PRESSURE EQUALIZATION
A passive ambient in-ear monitor includes an interchangeable unidirectional sonic filter that allows ambient sound to pass through to the ear canal and be combined with sound generated by internal drivers. A sonic low pressure equalization device of a predetermined spatial volume links the sonic filter with the internal drivers to deliver to the user a mixture of generated and ambient sound without any substantial degradation to low frequency sound.
Ear tip device
An ear tip device for padding an in-ear headphone includes a cylinder, which comprises silicone and viscoelastic polyurethane foam so that the cylinder is resiliently compressible. A channel is axially positioned in and extends through the cylinder. The channel is configured to expand to allow insertion of a headphone and to contract to couple the cylinder to the headphone. The cylinder is configured to be compressed between digits of a hand of a user, positioning the user to at least partially insert the cylinder into an ear canal of the user. The cylinder is positioned to expand to conform to the ear canal and to couple the cylinder to the ear. The cylinder is configured to attenuate ambient noise and to direct a sound transmitted by the headphone to an eardrum of the user.
