WEARABLE DEVICE COMPRISING SPEAKER
According to an embodiment, a wearable device includes: a case including an inner space and including a through-hole connecting the inner space and an outside of the wearable device; a speaker disposed within the case and configured to output audio; and a nozzle including audio path extending from the inner space to the outside of the wearable device, inserted to the through-hole, rotatably coupled to the case within the through-hole; wherein, the case may include a seating portion supporting a part of the nozzle disposed inside the case and formed along the periphery of the through-hole; and a guiding portion disposed in the seating portion and configured to guide the rotation of the nozzle.
HEADSET AND EAR PAD
A headset includes: a housing provided at one end portion of a headband; a boom main body attached to the housing; and an ear pad attached to the housing on a side opposite to the boom main body. The ear pad includes a cup portion configured to cover an entire auricle of a wearer when the entire auricle is inserted into an inner diameter portion of the cap portion. In the cup portion, a plurality of through holes allowing the inner diameter portion to be open to an outside are formed closer to the housing than a cup opening of the inner diameter portion.
Earphone with a vent
An earphone comprising housing, a speaker, a speaker protrusion extending along a protrusion axis and comprising an inner protrusion surface and an outer protrusion surface, a resilient eargel comprising an inner eargel surface and an outer eargel surface. The eargel is detachably attached to the speaker protrusion, such that the outer protrusion surface abuts an abutment part of the inner eargel surface in an abutment zone extending along the protrusion axis. The eargel is adapted to be inserted into the outer ear of a user, such that it abuts the ear canal of a user, whereby a cavity is provided between at least the speaker, the inner protrusion surface, the inner eargel surface and the ear canal. The earphone is provided with a vent channel coupling the cavity and the ambient, wherein the vent channel comprises a groove (8) in the outer protrusion surface or the inner eargel surface. The vent channel is provided between the groove in the outer protrusion surface and the inner eargel surface or between the groove in the inner eargel surface and the outer protrusion surface. The groove comprises a first groove part, that extends in a plane orthogonal to the protrusion axis.
Inductive coupling coil structure in a contact hearing system
In embodiments of the invention, the present invention is directed to a contact hearing system, the contact hearing system including: an ear tip, the ear tip including a transmit coil wherein the transmit coil is wound around a core including, at least in part, a ferromagnetic material; and a contact hearing device including a receive coil wherein the receive coil is wound around a core including, at least in part, a non-ferromagnetic material.
Earphone Port
A port tube for an earphone, wherein the port tube is configured to acoustically couple a rear acoustic cavity of the earphone to an external environment, includes a first section that is proximate the rear cavity and defines a first cross-sectional area, a second, transitional, section that is coupled to the first section and defines a gradually increasing cross-sectional area, a third, curved and banked, section that is coupled to the second section and defines a second cross-sectional area that is greater than the first cross-sectional area, a fourth, transitional, section that is coupled to the third section and defines a gradually decreasing cross-sectional area, and a fifth section that is coupled to the fourth section and defines a third cross-sectional area that it less than the second cross-sectional area.
Diagnostics for acoustic devices and methods
An acoustic device and method generates an acoustic signal by applying an excitation signal to a first coil disposed about an armature of an acoustic receiver. A second coil magnetically coupled to the first coil generates an electrical output signal in response to the excitation signal applied to the first coil, wherein the output signal of the second coil is indicative of a change in a state or operation of the receiver or acoustic device. In some embodiments, the first and second coils are wired independently of each other, and the acoustic device further includes an electrical circuit which determines the change in the acoustic performance based on a change in the electrical output signal of the second coil.
Earplugs, earphones, and eartips
At least one exemplary embodiment is directed to an earphone, ear device, eartip, or earplug configured to inserted in an ear canal of the ear. The earphone, ear device, eartip, or earplug is configured to occlude or partially occlude the ear canal of the ear. The earphone, ear device, eartip, or earplug includes a chamber to occlude or partially occlude the ear canal that is sealed when inserted in the ear canal and open to the external environment when outside the ear.
TRANSDUCER ARRANGEMENTS FOR HEAD- AND EARPHONES
A transducer arrangement for head- or earphones comprises a sound steering unit, which comprises a frontal chamber and at least one sound canal. Each of the at least one sound canal comprises at least one internal opening towards the frontal chamber and an external open end for directing sound towards the outside of the transducer arrangement. The transducer arrangement further comprises a rear chamber and at least one loudspeaker arranged between the frontal chamber and the rear chamber.
