A method for operating a bone conduction communication system can include establishing a communicable connection, operating a transducer in an input mode wherein the bone conduction transducers are configured to detect a vibration associated with a bone of the user; transmitting an audio signal over the communicable connection; and operating the transducers responsive to the audio signal.
Systems and methods for suppressing sound leakage
A speaker comprises a housing, a transducer residing inside the housing, and at least one sound guiding hole located on the housing. The transducer generates vibrations. The vibrations produce a sound wave inside the housing and cause a leaked sound wave spreading outside the housing from a portion of the housing. The at least one sound guiding hole guides the sound wave inside the housing through the at least one sound guiding hole to an outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interferes with the leaked sound wave in a target region. The interference at a specific frequency relates to a distance between the at least one sound guiding hole and the portion of the housing.
Systems, devices and methods including galvanic and caloric vestibular stimulation
A vestibular neurostimulation device, which may include first and second electrodes; first and second thermoelectric devices thermally coupled, respectively, to first and second earpieces that are configured to be insertable into respective ear canals of a patient; and a controller comprising a waveform generator. The waveform generator may be is configured to deliver a modulated electric signal to the patient through galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS) using the first and second electrodes and to deliver a time varying thermal waveform to the patient through caloric vestibular stimulation (CVS) using the first and second earpieces simultaneous with the delivery of the modulated electrical signal through GVS. The CVS and/or GVS may be configured to increase a passage of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) through a blood-brain-barrier.
SOUND PRODUCING DEVICES
The present disclosure provides a sound producing device, at least comprising a housing assembly. The housing assembly comprises a housing and a sealing member. The housing is provided with a plug-in hole, and the plug-in hole runs through a side wall of one side of the housing; the sealing member is used for plugging and sealing the plug-in hole; the plug-in hole comprises at least one hole wall segment provided along a plugging direction of the sealing member; the cross-sectional area of a reference cross section of at least part of the at least one hole wall segment perpendicular to the plugging direction of the sealing member increases gradually along the plugging direction; the sealing member is in plugging fit with the at least one hole wall segment.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES
The present disclosure discloses an assistive listening device. The assistive listening device includes a signal input module configured to receive an initial sound and convert the initial sound into an electric signal, a signal processing module configured to process the electric signal and generate a control signal, and at least one output energy converter configured to convert the control signal into a bone conduction sound wave that can be perceived by a user and an air conduction sound wave that can be heard by the user's ears. Within a target frequency range, the air conduction sound wave is transmitted to the user's ears, so that a sound intensity of the air conduction sound heard by the user's ears is greater than a sound intensity of the initial sound received by the signal input module.
Nearfield inductive coupling in a contact hearing system
In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to a method of transmitting information from an ear tip to a contact hearing device, the method comprising the steps of: exciting a transmit coil, the transmit coil being positioned in the ear tip, wherein the transmit coil is wound on a core, the core including a ferromagnetic material; radiating an electromagnetic field from the first coil through the ear canal of a user; receiving the radiated electromagnetic field at a receive coil, the receive coil being positioned on a contact hearing device, the contact hearing device including a receive coil without a ferrite core; and transmitting the information from the transmit coil to the receive coil using, for example, near-field radiation.
Acoustic output apparatus
The present disclosure provides an acoustic output apparatus including one or more status sensors, at least one low-frequency acoustic driver, at least one high-frequency acoustic driver, at least two first sound guiding holes, and at least two second sound guiding holes. The status sensors may detect status information of a user. The low-frequency acoustic driver may generate at least one first sound, a frequency of which is within a first frequency range. The high-frequency acoustic driver may generate at least one second sound, a frequency of which is within a second frequency range including at least one frequency exceeding the first frequency range. The first and second sound guiding holes may output the first and second spatial sound, respectively. The first and second sound may be generated based on the status information, and may simulate a target sound coming from at least one virtual direction with respect to the user.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AMBIENT SOUND AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR THE SAME
An electronic device includes a speaker, a sensor, a communication circuit, a processor, and a memory to store instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause a wireless audio device to, while outputting a signal for reducing an external sound through the speaker, identify, using the communication circuit, an external electronic device, identify, using the sensor, a conversation responsive to a location of the external electronic device satisfying a specified condition, responsive to identifying the conversation, stop an output of the signal for reducing the external sound for a first period of time, and responsive to identifying a specified keyword included in the conversation, prolong stopping the output of the signal for reducing the external sound for a second period of time.
SENSING DEVICES
The embodiment of the present disclosure discloses a sensing device, comprising: an elastic component; a sensing cavity, wherein the elastic component forms a first sidewall of the sensing cavity; and an energy conversion component configured to obtain a sensing signal and convert the sensing signal into an electrical signal, the energy conversion component being in communication with the sensing cavity, and the sensing signal relating to a change of a volume of the sensing cavity, wherein at least one convex structure is arranged on one side of the elastic component facing toward the sensing cavity, the elastic component drives the at least one convex structure to move in response to an external signal, and the movement of the at least one convex structure changing the volume of the sensing cavity.
BONE CONDUCTION SPEAKER AND COMPOUND VIBRATION DEVICE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a bone conduction speaker and its compound vibration device. The compound vibration device comprises a vibration conductive plate and a vibration board, the vibration conductive plate is set to be the first torus, where at least two first rods inside it converge to its center; the vibration board is set as the second torus, where at least two second rods inside it converge to its center. The vibration conductive plate is fixed with the vibration board; the first torus is fixed on a magnetic system, and the second torus comprises a fixed voice coil, which is driven by the magnetic system. The bone conduction speaker in the present invention and its compound vibration device adopt the fixed vibration conductive plate and vibration board, making the technique simpler with a lower cost; because the two adjustable parts in the compound vibration device can adjust both low frequency and high frequency area, the frequency response obtained is flatter and the sound is broader.
