Reproduction device, reproduction method, and on-vehicle speaker system
A reproduction device according to an embodiment is a reproduction device configured to output a reproduction signal to a speaker system including a first speaker unit group and a second speaker unit group disposed behind the first speaker unit group, the reproduction device including: first delay circuits configured to delay reproduction signals output to speaker units included in the first speaker unit group; and second delay circuits configured to delay reproduction signals output to speaker units included in the second speaker unit group. In the second speaker unit group, a delay time in accordance with a distance difference between a distance and a distance and a longitudinal distance is set for the second delay circuit.
VEHICLE AUDIO SYSTEM
A vehicle audio system includes a first driver's seat speaker, a second driver's seat speaker having a narrower directivity than the first driver's seat speaker, a first front passenger's seat speaker, a second front passenger's seat speaker having a narrower directivity than the first front passenger's seat speaker, and a delay processing unit that causes an audio signal output to the speaker out of the first driver's seat speaker and the second driver's seat speaker closest to the driver's seat to be delayed relative to an audio signal output to the speaker furthest from the driver's seat, and causes an audio signal output to the speaker out of the first front passenger's seat speaker and the second front passenger's seat speaker closest to the front passenger's seat to be delayed relative to an audio signal output to the speaker furthest from the front passenger's seat.
BIDIRECTIONAL PROPAGATION OF SOUND
The description relates to rendering directional sound. One implementation includes receiving directional impulse responses corresponding to a scene. The directional impulse responses can correspond to multiple sound source locations and a listener location in the scene. The implementation can also include encoding the directional impulse responses to obtain encoded departure direction parameters for individual sound source locations. The implementation can also include outputting the encoded departure direction parameters, the encoded departure direction parameters providing sound departure directions from the individual sound source locations for rendering of sound.
Sound source localization device, sound source localization method, and program
A sound source localization device includes: a sound receiving unit that includes two or more microphones; and a sound source localization unit that transforms a sound signal received by each of the microphones into a frequency domain, models a steering vector through Fourier series expansion of an N-th (here, N is an integer equal to or larger than 1) order for the transformed sound signal of the frequency domain for each of the microphones, calculates a steering vector of an arbitrary angle using the modeled steering vector, and performs localization of a sound source using the calculated steering vector of the arbitrary angle.
Audio Processing
A method for rendering a spatial audio signal that represents a sound field in a selectable viewpoint audio environment that includes one or more audio objects associated with respective audio content and a respective position in the audio environment. The method includes receiving an indication of a selected listening position and orientation in the audio environment; detecting an interaction concerning a first audio object on basis of one or more predefined interaction criteria; modifying the first audio object and one or more further audio objects linked thereto; and deriving the spatial audio signal that includes at least audio content associated with the modified first audio object in a first spatial position of the sound field that corresponds to its position in the audio environment in relation to said selected listening position and orientation, and audio content associated with the modified one or more further audio objects.
Endpoint device using the precedence effect to improve echo cancellation performance
An endpoint device includes a microphone array and spaced-apart loudspeakers including an active loudspeaker among the loudspeakers that is closest to the microphone array. The endpoint device forms at the microphone array an audio receive beam having a main lobe pointed in a direction from which audio is to be received, and determines which of the loudspeakers are not in the main lobe. The endpoint device identifies at least one additional loudspeaker among the loudspeakers determined not to be in the main lobe and that is farther away from the microphone array than the active loudspeaker. The endpoint device spreads audio energy of input audio associated with, and intended for, the active loudspeaker across the active loudspeaker and the at least one additional loudspeaker, and no other ones of the loudspeakers, using a precedence effect.
SHARED POINT OF VIEW
Sound sources can be spatially rendered in a setting and shown through a display. In response to satisfaction of a threshold criterion that is satisfied based on relative distance between the sound sources and a position of a listener, the rendering of the sound sources can be adjusted to maintain spatial integrity of the sound sources. The adjustment can be performed to prevent one of the sound sources from arriving at the listener earlier than another of the sound sources.
Method and device for rendering acoustic signal, and computer-readable recording medium
A method of elevation rendering an audio signal includes receiving multichannel signals including a height input channel signal of a predetermined elevation angle, obtaining first elevation rendering parameters for a height input channel signal of a standard elevation angle, obtaining a delayed height input channel signal by applying a predetermined delay to a height input channel signal, updating the first elevation rendering parameters based on the predetermined elevation angle, obtaining second elevation rendering parameters based on the label of the height input channel signal and labels of two output channel signals, and elevation rendering the multichannel signals and the delayed height input channel signal to output a plurality of output channel signals of an elevated sound image, based on the updated first elevation rendering parameters and the second elevation rendering parameters.
