METHODS, SYSTEMS, ARTICLES OF MANUFACTURE, AND APPARATUS FOR ADAPTIVE METERING
Methods, systems, articles of manufacture, and apparatus for adaptive metering are disclosed. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes a condition analyzer to determine a condition associated with a mobile device, a meter selector to select a meter for the mobile device based on the condition, and a data collector to collect data pertaining to the mobile device based on the selected meter.
Security Techniques for Device Assisted Services
Security techniques for device assisted services are provided. In some embodiments, secure service measurement and/or control execution partition is provided. In some embodiments, implementing a service profile executed at least in part in a secure execution environment of a processor of a communications device for assisting control of the communications device use of a service on a wireless network, in which the service profile includes a plurality of service policy settings, and wherein the service profile is associated with a service plan that provides for access to the service on the wireless network; monitoring use of the service based on the service profile; and verifying the use of the service based on the monitored use of the service.

Exclusive Delivery of Content Within Geographic Areas
Application developers can request to have their applications registered for use with a content delivery platform. The operator of the content delivery platform establishes perimeters defining geographic areas, and maintains records reserving particular areas for delivery of content associated with particular sponsors. Registered applications running on mobile devices can request content from the content delivery platform. Based at least in part on the request, the content delivery platform can identify a target location, which may be the location of the mobile device, or some other location indicated in the request. A mobile device can be provided content based on the relationship of the target location to the geographic areas, so that a registered application running on a mobile device with a target location contained within a geographic area assigned to a particular sponsor will receive content related to that sponsor.

METHOD AND A COMMUNICATION DEVICE FOR COORDINATED SIGNALLING
A method, executable at a first communication device, for enabling communication between a group of communication devices, including the first communication device is suggested. The suggested method comprise activating the first communication device in response to recognizing a cause for triggering such activation, recognizing at least one second communication device, exchanging data between the first and the at least one second communication device, in response to recognizing the at least one second communication device, determining, based on the exchanged data, rules to be applied for a coordinated signaling, from the first communication device and at least one of the at least one second communication device, and initiating the coordinated signaling, based on the determined rules.
Method for identifying wireless communication device user
There are proposed a method for identifying users of a wireless communication device and a system for implementation thereof. The method includes the steps of receiving a MAC address of the device by a subsystem of the system and creating instructions that, when executed, cause the device to launch a subprogram in an application, A user then starts working with the subprogram. A subprogram user identifier or reference thereto is provided in the user's identification subsystem. A reference to the device MAC address associated with the subprogram user identifier is passed to the user identification subsystem, and the user identification subsystem saves the reference to the user identifier and the reference to the device MAC address associated therewith. The proposed method and device allow for simplifying the procedure for identifying the user.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTIVELY PROVIDING WIRELESS SIGNAL CHARACTERISTICS TO SERVICE PROVIDERS
Systems and methods are described for selectively providing data to service providers. Wireless signal characteristics may be transmitted over a wireless network by network equipment in a household, and a map of the household may be generated based on the determined wireless signal characteristics. An API request may be received from a service provider, and an authorization level of the service provider may be determined. Based on the authorization level of the service provider, at least one portion of the map and at least one of the wireless signal characteristics to transmit to the service provider may be identified, and the identified at least one portion of the map and at least one of the wireless signal characteristics may be transmitted to the service provider via the API.

SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE PROCESSING SYSTEM, METHOD, DEVICE, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a short message service processing system, which is configured to, with a short message interworking device, perform a signaling conversion in a first short message process between a short message service center and a mobility management entity or a short message service function entity, where the signaling conversion in the first short message process is a conversion from first signaling of an E interface to second signaling of a SGd interface; the short message interworking device is further configured to perform a signaling conversion in a second short message process between the short message service center and a unified data management entity/home subscriber server; and the signaling conversion in the second short message process is a conversion from the first signaling of a C interface to second signaling of a S6c interface.
